I understand the rules of the community (everything goes), but God damn am I tired of seeing political news in the shitposting/ meme communities.

Haha, I actually didn't even notice that on the first look. I saw the spinning prop blades them and BMW were after (though the swastika is another likely design influence)

So you self-admittedly call people "bootlicker" as a reactionary statement, with zero regards to whether or not you could be spitting in the face of someone who is on your side.

That's uh.. one way to get people on our side.

You don't have to be here to be "right", but you're not "raising awareness about the parasite class" by calling everyone under the sun a bootlicker because your 2 second assessment tells you that they're a Reddit apologist. You aren't helping by insulting anyone who dares speak against the consensus. You're solidifying the stereotype of the "intolerable left". You're pushing away people who might be slightly misguided but otherwise receptive of education. You're pushing moderates to the right.

In other words, go off about your opinion, but don't kid yourself into thinking that this behavior is productive.

What I'm saying is, not everyone that says anything slightly critical of what you think is a "class traitor". You aren't calling out opposition, you're ostracizing people who want to see the same thing you do.

I also expressed my opinion. My opinion is that if you want to see any progress, it's best to not be a twat to others for no reason. And that "bootlicker" is not a term for genuine people that want to see that progress.

You sound like such a tool when calling people that mostly agree with you "bootlicker". That term now is like a neon sign that says, "nothing I say has any basis in reality, and if you disagree with me I will cry and block you."

If you don't agree with someone, you can still present an argument without calling them names like a child. Your misinformed comrades are still your comrades (even though this guy is 100% correct).

Just want to add. Don't ask them a question, waiting with a prepared response to whatever they say. Go into the conversation with an idea of what you want to say, sure, but don't ask someone a question you don't intend to fully listen to the answer of in an attempt to make a smooth segue.

If you ask what she's been doing lately, and she doesn't happen to mention her hobbies, but she does engage the conversation with you and tells you about her week, day, whatever, make sure you're present and listening, and don't immediately blow her response off with, "well I do XYZ, ever try?"

Emily is my favorite. She's got some really fun original ideas, and watching her videos perfectly captures that "it works!" feeling when you're working on something that really shouldn't work.

My favorite rage comics were the ones that had no text. Just a series of shittily drawn stick figures carrying out whatever task, followed by the frustrated, happy, angry, depressed, etc. reaction that we all can relate to.

I think they ask because Anker cables are usually pretty good. Or at least once upon a time they were, I haven't bought them in a while.. mainly because the 4 that I bought in ~2015 all still work (supplemented with randoms that come with devices)

Depends. I've definitely used boiling water with some tight fits. It's only half the temperature of most common filament printing range.

I see. It looks like it might be in production limbo, though. The concept seems really interesting - I'm wondering what is meant when they say they want to deliver the content of the original material in a serious fashion. Like.. did they rewrite the entire script to make sense? Or is it just a line for line remake?
