I have a young child who will be using the web eventually and it terrifies me. I'm going to have to do something to lock it down to keep out the brain rot
Do you have any sources on the claim that it wasn't a cross and was changed later for pagans? The scripture references "coming down" from the cross which to me would imply the one we typically think of.
"I see crosses there, not just of one kind but made differently by different [fabricators]; some individuals suspended their victims with heads inverted toward the ground; some drove a stake (stipes) through their excretory organs/genitals; others stretched out their [victims'] arms on a patibulum [cross bar]; I see racks, I see lashes ... "
Sounds like Seneca, a figure from exactly this time period confirms the type of cross we think of.
This is in my top ten list for certain, I'm glad they're remastering it so a new generation can enjoy it! I would like to see more new content with this same style though.
This also might be the optimal strategy anyway, a 33% domestic 66% international allocation. There was recently a paper on this topic, here's a video covering it: https://youtu.be/-nPon8Ad_Ug
I had this phase of my life as well. Some sweat and wrenching on things yourself can pay off big sometimes. And now with YouTube a lot of the time you can learn exactly what you need. Might be hard though if you're working that much overtime
You can fight 1v10 later on, but in the beginning of the first game you were literally a peasant. It makes sense even a 1v2 would represent a mortally dangerous situation until you get better skills and gear.
Really it's what made the game so good in my opinion, I've never felt a character grow like that before.
I really like this one from Ico titled Castle in The Mist: https://youtu.be/q9xroa4cMLM
