Funny how someone can whine about being a victim when he started out with millions of dollars and never faced real consequences for his plethora of crimes. This guy commits more crimes before breakfast than most people commit in their lifetime. Also if the White House schedule was accurate he does like nothing till late morning, so gives him more time to commit a bit of light treason to get the day started. Won't someone think of the old rich racist white once in awhile? Not knocking on white or old dudes just the racist ones with too much privilege,
Then run up to them, catch them by surprise so you get a free turn to close the distance, there are options but it is tactically oriented. Also turn down the difficulty is an option, nothing lost by playing on an easier difficulty. If you're in range with a melee character they should get a reaction when an enemy runs away which gives basically a free attack action. I haven't progressed far but it feels like an expected difficulty at normal. Not saying normal is easy but you're only expected to do a few encounters before resting so your casters can perform well.
I started the game a few times in early access, though I saw it in YouTube playthroughs never made it to the underdark, mostly wandered around and saw a new patch soon so went on to other games. Just started again and was surprised how short they made the initial ship area, unless I did something odd, it's quite short compared to beta and highly appreciated. Played some of DOS2 and this game is a noticably a more developed product. Not to say DOS2 was bad or anything, for those that may ponder picking it up, very similar overall but this feels like a DnD game for sure. I'd say it's a proper successor to the original Baldurs Gates, though never made it too far so I think it's a plus if they got the feeling that early.
Well it is a gateway to calculus, soon you'll be able to be closer to understanding problems that include changing values like acceleration. Okay I may be misremembering calculus but there was way more Pythagoras theorum involved than you'd guess at first look.
By that do you mean it autosaves often and many autosaves, and you have to prepare to figure out the autosave you need? I'm not really sure the difference meant but that's all I can think of compared to current games. Though if so I'd add, you get to pick how many autosaves it will do so you can increase / decrease as needed.
Also as someone who played 90s and previous older RPGs having multiple autosaves rocks, there weren't always multiple autosaves so you tended to reload back to your manual save and try again from that point. Save scumming wasn't considered a bad thing way back when, just how you'd figure out the hard stuff heh.
Guess it's a good thing my case has a slider that blocks the camera. They can tell where but not what. Though with mic they can probably tell what most of the time too for me, yay for spying on me watching cartoons and playing video games. Now that I typed it I realized how little had changed in 30 years, thankfully there's new of both to enjoy.
It's quite different from both in the way that the skills can have position mechanics for some like backstab (rogue class, least I am pretty sure they can backstab), or persuade/intimidate to sway conversant to your objective, but still xcom related in the way that each character has a turn where they can do a variety of multiple things in a turn. Diablo is only similar in that it has skills but an extremely different paced game. Positioning is important for spells, unless I am misremembering, because AOE in DnD doesn't care who's in the area, so you don't want to cast fireball when your party members are within the area.
Turn actions are broken down into their own categories like action / quick action (*later edit, bonus action when reading abilities/spells) which each has their own amount of (though usually a similar amount but after some levels some classes can hit/attack multiple times, this is needed for martial classes). The combat is turn related once started but you can often get characters into positions before starting combat (this may need stealth for some because once certain enemies see you they start combat). There is a bigger emphasis on role playing (conversation) choices in the game that can impact encounters, either with the current conversant or down the line. Certain actions like getting caught stealing will impact things too
CRPGs are their own genre, have more in common with other Larian games (divinity original sin) or games like Pathfinder, and of course the older DnD games. The rules takes some knowledge and getting used to but not overly difficult, you can download a free edition of the DnD 5th editions rules which may help too(not 100% accurate but close enough). If you have friends I think you'll enjoy playing with them as you figure out your strategies from battle to conversations but it's a slower paced game. Just don't ignore things that can boost out of combat abilities to persuade (skill) or stealth that can give other opportunities while playing, though you can probably just play a murder everyone party if it works for you.
If you enjoy a quicker paced game though this isn't your game is all, it's slow and there can be a lot of time spent checking chests, talking and wandering. If you enjoy story and some tactical combat this is a good choice in my opinion.
Edit: forgot to add, party composition (classes) makes a big difference, you probably don't want a group of 4 of one class as each class has it's niche, but doesn't mean it's undoable may just be more difficult.
Later edit: I said quick action, but it's a actually bonus action, helpful for when reading the text, hopefully nobody was confused.
Didn't Graham change his tune after a round of golf with Trump? Not that I'd expect Graham to have a different position anyways but it has the overt appearance of some coercion thrown in there, assuming the timeline matches (never checked it myself). Probably pretty easy for Trump to do with Russian intelligence and popup book on why it's in his best interest to use intelligence for a change.
Semi spoiler but haven't watched Meet the Parents? That's actually the first time I found out it was an actual name but it's older now I know. Sorry if that spoiled it for anyone but it's literally the last joke of the movie. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it, not outstanding but solid comedy, plus has the best nipple joke.
Can't believe I did either, I knew there was something but there is just so much that makes that man an awful human being and a downside to any society he's allowed to be free in. Like if you sifted out the worst traits a human could have and squeezed 400lbs of it into a 250lb case, you'd end up with that orange douchy turd sandwich.
I wouldn't go far enough to say that for the reason that enjoying the instrumentals (unsure if the correct word, but I mean the melody from non-vocal sounds) is a personal taste. Most people don't care for my taste which is mostly electronica genres not much lyrics usually, but to each their own.
Personally country music sounds like nails on a chalkboard but I wouldn't ever say enjoying a certain sound makes someone an idiot. I have read about this story and as a whole it does sound like someone scoring points on an ignorant (and false) view that I have no interest in checking out, for more reasons than just being country and annoying to personally listen to.
Did that come out after or around the 2020 election? I could have sworn I read it around then but I can't seem to find anything from a few searches, everything is current. My memory may be failing but I could have sworn something similar came out around then, unless it was just people guessing. Not that Trump is overly hard to guess, he said he won the first election by more but there was never anything major after he put people on the 'illegal votes' task force.
Thought I'd add for people that may not know, the quotes mean exact match for what's between the quotes and only give results if it includes that term (unless I mixed something up). Whenever you click on Google's 'must include' it puts quotes around the term. Can be handy or make things worse depending what you're looking for. Worse is while programming and tracking a specific issue, unless they used the exact words you won't get a result. Better for part numbers if they never get changed.
Been awhile since I went into the nitty gritty of the searching functions so if this is incorrect please reply with the correct info, been awhile since I really had to think about what quotes does behind the scenes.
Well it's their fault they weren't born rich brought to you by the party of family values, if your family cared they'd have made more money before you were born.
Not related to the strike, but as a teen in the 90s, watching The Nanny again now is way funnier than other random sitcoms these days. Sure it had a laugh track but the comedic timing was spot on for everyone, though Niles was best for his snipes. Also the jokes were in that nice spot between groaning and laugh worthy. It was the 90s afterall so was a bit cheesy too.
Yeah but like calling your dog names, it doesn't realize what you're really doing. Queue dissing your dog with Will Ferrell skit For an advanced society it doesn't seem like the way to treat a sentient being even if it has no emotions. At least with Spock and Bones, Spock had his jabs in too and has more expressions than 'yes sir'.
Lower Decks has a couple on a date in the lounge when a Red Alert goes off, it's a pretty good bit as they continue their date. Though don't think it's called ten forward on that ship.
