  • I thought there was a line about calculating the route for hyperdrive and it taking a minute, so maybe they could but wouldn't do the math fast enough. Mean it sounds plausible for the 70s when Douglas Adams was going on about digital watches in his books, nowadays it takes a bit to believe that'd be the situation.

  • Somehow the guy who grew up in a desert working on a farm in an environment meant for Fremen whined more than his twin sister who had a princess title. Mean it's worth a bit of bitching afterwards when you get some perspective but get a bit of resilience from your upbringing.

  • 'If' Trump plans to sell the stock, of course be plans to, he doesn't care about it long term for potential real money. Also it's the only reason it's going public so he can cash out. He can buy more ways to whine his festivus grievances if he has real cash when it goes under.

Is there any way to know if Trump has actually sold his stock? Unsure how that stuff is reported but I sort of assume there're records of who (or what shell companies) own them.

  • I loved fighter jets as a kid, Iron Eagle was one of my favorites in the 80s just for that. I even used to listen to music to focus for awhile lol, though it did help sometimes.Unless I'm highly under the influence I doubt I'll ever watch it again.

Watched Enemy Mine again within the last decade or so, enjoyed it much more than when I was younger.

  • He'll argue it down to, 'don't do it again' with a virgous finger waving, assuming there's media in the room, otherwise it's just 'sorry for intruding on your time, can we remove some charges while you're here?'.

I'm disillusioned by the US justice system at the moment, one of the few times I pay attention as a foreigner, mostly to check if the tangerine tantrum is being held accountable for breaking the law like regular people go through M&Ms.

  • Yeah the guy who cleared out the Italian mob for the Russian mob to move in (think that happened under him) would have money hidden properly...If not he's as clueless as someone caught on camera thinking he'll commit statutory rape for fun. Even if he's not that clueless he may have thought himself untouchable. Trump only keeps idiots around as long as he was.

  • Heh has there ever been a palladium rpg system in a video game? Really I'm curious, I loved their IPs (ahhh Robotech) and some neat ideas that weren't other IPs but the system left a lot to be desired. To be fair I never played much of them but recall reading rifts, superhero one and Robotech game books back in the 90s a lot.

  • That's the real reason he's scared now, it'll be known how little he actually has in equity once the AG has to start selling them off.

I hope not, but I think there's a strong possibility that Trump has a devil's bargain available to get him the money but it's almost worse than everyone knowing he's pretty broke. Mean maybe not since that's his whole charade, he pretty much kowtowed to Putin in front of cameras at Helsinki (think that's the spot where he denied US intelligence agencie's opinion) so here's to hoping he's actually going to have at least some comeuppance to his life of fraud.

  • It was also testified in a deposition (or similar that would be perjury for lying, maybe not by Trump I can't recall) that he (or Trump org?) had 400million liquidity, so it shouldn't be that big of an issue for him to come up with it. Even if he had to deal with the defamation bond. So he (or his lackey) told the courts that they could cover it, I mean a real estate billionaire down 100million should be able to come up with 150million (sorry if math is off, liquidity - defamation bond - tax-fraud bond difference) from non liquid assets without too much work right? I'm sure some bond company would cover it with proper collateral anyways. Hah. These are the chickens coming to roost you orange turd.

  • I'm still hoping that eventually the trump card in a hand will be the worst card you can get. So far it just helps you win for being lucky, except I guess that sort of fits for him too. Just shouldn't be a positive thing since he's a well of grievances, like festivus year round.

  • I recall seeing at least one interview with this guy, he was all self righteous like his shit didn't stink, big pompous ass. Wasn't this the dude who Kushner found by looking at books on Amazon? Cause that's how all the best advisors are found.

  • Any breaks during CK3 make me forget which country the daughter was to be married to compared to the country who's line you were exterminating to get a title, yeah I need to sort that out before replying to a text about what flavour ice cream is the best. I do need to work on my memory though.

  • I think there was one or two rulings not in Trump's favour by judges he nominated from the 2020 election or something slightly involving Trump if it wasn't for that. I just recall thinking, oh maybe they aren't completely corrupt, just mostly. However he managed to get the bootlicker extraordinaire to judge in the area he lives in (or where his local lawsuits would be filed) as a treat from the Federalist Society for rubber stamping the rest of their list right before leaving office, coincidence I'm sure.

  • Software devs and designers usually fall under IT is my understanding but I can see why many people/places would make the distinction. Especially for companies that only write software, their IT would more be the infrastructure, but if they're only writing software for in house use that's more on the IT side. I could be completely wrong about this too, just how I saw them grouped.

  • I could have sworn when I pledged in 2014-2016 (can't recall at the moment) I pledged cause Squadron 42 was hyped to be released in a much shorter time. I'm not complaining, I spent some more cash on it, but I thought I was going to get a fancier single player space game before now. I loved Wing Commander as a kid, even had to get a tech to figure out the highmem.sys and possibly other optimization in the windows .bat files to even play so wanted to play the newest of Chris Rpberts.

Of course maybe I misunderstood at the time and it wasn't supposed to be coming that soon, which is why I'm not bothered even if it passed, I think they are trying but got into feature creep. I haven't logged on in over a year now but I keep an eye on things to try when it seems interesting and get use out of my HOTAS.

  • Huh I didn't realize that was a thing but after some googling it appears forklifts rarely go over 18mph. I'm guessing it was more on the industrial equipment side since they were only for moving the piles of cut lumber around, but they may have only gone up to 30kph in the yard too and I just never realized. Thanks for helping me learn something new.
