  • Like I'm going two weld two dimes into a cross for the screw slot when I have a wrench already.

  • Nice choice. Try to stick to the standard repository, kinda like the Play store on android.

I believe Mint tries to have minimal dependence on the command line. But usually it's easier to help others solve problems with the command line since that is easier to write out than how to click through menus. So don't let it scare you too much.

The internet is a friendlier place now, at least in the linux help-o-sphere. People don't let others post destructive "lessons" for people to learn anymore.

  • Ha. I don't think I even read the title. I didn't even see the pun until I read your comment. So I'm glad you cited your source.

  • Maybe it took Guiliani back 40 years. He was at about 1920 before but he seems closer to 1880 now.

  • Exactly. I don't why it's always surprising to people that court battles are fought over legal definitions. That's how legal definitions are made.

Vegetables are not anything that is not a fruit. Tomatos are both, as are cucumbers. When you say "technically a fruit is blah blah blah", it says nothing about whether something is vegetable. The definition is from a different domain. The definition of vegetable seems to have to due with human digestion. The botanical definition of fruit doesn't care about the existence of humans. Vegetables are culinary and to some extent cultural. "Fruit" also has a culinary meaning, but its not technical in that domain. There is no way to "technically" distinguish between fruit and vegetables as "vegetable" isn't technically botanically defined.

  • I wasn't talking about the law. I asked, "What is the technical botanical meaning of vegetable?". And you start talking about squares and rectangles.

  • instead of the technical botanical meaning.

What is the technical botanical meaning of vegetable? A tomato is a vegetable. It's fine. It's also a fruit. So what?

  • Half pipes aren't exactly safe, Hony.

  • There's a good reason to find out what you are capable of.

  • I'm surprised they don't consider it a breakthrough. "We have created Artificial Depression."

  • Who I blame doesn't matter. I just stopped using it. Spez doesn't care that I'm gone. Neither does the board. I don't like current reddit. But I'm under no illusion that they will to clamor to keep the users that want vpns and anonymous viewing.

A large group of data providers using the site is better for them than a huge group of content sharers.

  • It seems I was wrong in that you can't lock an item in a dungeon by beating it. But you can lose keys to a dungeon turning it into a mountain with keys inside. So using a later dungeon's key to skip a key could softlock you.

  • He's not just a youtuber who's gay. He is a gay youtuber. He is a gay youtuber who's gay. No one would watch a gay youtuber who's straight.
