  • Having just watched it last night, I had the same gripe as you did regarding the titan changes coming undone, but now I think it kinda works well with the shift in tone we get when it's revealed that despite the events that took place, the cycle is doomed to continue.

There's a real sense of optimism after the fight that I think is actually pretty important to one of AoT's messages about how even if we're trapped in these awful cycles, there are moments within those cycles where things can be good and worth living for.

  • This is cute. But the real question: Do people actually use those joycons attachments??

  • Mines pretty basic, I've been using this setup for years.

  • I'll ride my bike around, ideally picking up some food and eating it somewhere public where I can people watch. Then the rest of the day I'll play around with my guitar and/or some video games if I'm playing anything at the moment. (Still working on TotK right now)

  • Great recommendation. Somewhere in the Between was my introduction to the genre! So many good memories listening to both of these albums nonstop in high school, totally reshaped my whole musical identity at the time.

  • Regarding #1, the problem lies in the implementation of the cameras. I think the idea of average speed cameras are interesting. Basically, just have multiple cameras and use the time a driver takes to get from one to the other to calculate their average speed. This way you can't game it by slowing down at specific points.

  • It's true that you'll probably see something unpleasant on public transit once in a while but most folks aren't going to share the experience of someone who is literally tasked with engaging with and managing the people causing problems on the bus.

It's unfortunate though because in my experience transit feels a lot more pleasant when there are at least a decent amount of people riding with you. When people start to feel unsafe and stop riding, it can drive further people away if they have other transportation options.

  • Riding transit in off peak hours is great for this and you can often get to a quieter location this way too. Some of my favorite days are the ones I spend on my own taking the train out of town when I need to travel, even though it's not the fastest way to get around
