But no shade, I love all these movies (except for Casino Royale, which does seem really random at number 1 with the other movies tbh. Not a bad movie I guess, but what? 😆)

I mean yeah that’s true. Reality doesn’t have to make sense. It exists and that’s it.

I would love to see history books 100 years from now, how people would handle all the craziness in the world…

If anyone wrote a fictional story like this, people would call it over the top, silly, far-fetched… reality is fucking dummer than fiction I guess. Not to excuse evil, this is evil, not dumbness.

The people in the boards of directors, the major investors, people who run large investment funds etc. are the same or very close to the owners of commercial real estate.

They don’t want to fuck themselves.

Also many times corporate rent is used as money laundering, to hide profits etc. Like the building is owned by company A, which is incorporated in the Virgin Islands, but is actually owned by the same group that owns company B that rents the building. So they pay money to themselves. So company B is not profitable and doesn’t have to pay taxes. Presto pronto.

Just a very obvious manoeuvre, there are certainly many more.

And that’s my entire point…. What is it doing? How what it’s doing is different from a mind or intelligence?

Like our brains and minds evolved to “fill in the blank”. For many situations, due to survival and millions of years of selection. So what is the actual difference?

I’m not saying it’s “conscious”, but why is it not a mind?

That ignores all the papers on emergent features of LLMs and the fact they are basically black boxes. Yes, we “trained” them to write what we want to hear. But we don’t really understand what happens inside of it. We can’t categorically claim things like “they are only regurgitating what they heard”. Because that is not a scientific or even philosophical statement.

If you think about it for a second, it’s also applicable to human beings…

My main question was the “what does that even mean?” part. The first question was mostly rhetoric. Idk his name could be a coincidence or a joke as well, who know.

I do believe a lot of our issues are genetic. But we also know different people with identical genetical “problems” will and won’t develop mental illnesses based on their environments and traumatic events in their lives. Epigenetics and all. Like schizophrenia. It was first purely genetic, now we’re pretty sure it’s also environment and experience led.

People say things like this, then years later find out their siblings/demon kids in their lives were abused (sexually or no) by parents friends/distant relatives etc.

I don’t think people become psychopaths or develop extreme BPD out of nowhere. Like never.
