  • Why would you believe your media regarding a country they admit is “closed off”?

Do you seriously believe they execute ppl for having the same haircut as Kim? And then execute ppl for having a different haircut from him?

They execute generals all the time, then the generals appear alive a few months later. That’s that mystical Juche necromancy for ya.

  • Performance-wise apple’s chips are way ahead of amd and any other arm based chip as well. Not sure what you’re talking about.

And compatibility ofc, that’s what I meant good software. Like optimizing steamOS to run on the m chips.

But that would never happen of course.

  • But they make money even if the people don’t pay. They just package debts and sell them off. And if there’s a big crisis, they still make a lot of money buying the dip.

The capitalist class is infinitely more class conscious and understanding of the system as it really is than the working class.

  • I feel like Outer Worlds at least tried to have a message. But they got scared and pulled away and gave up before the end. It starts way stronger than Fallout 3 imo. At least when it comes to writing and story. It’s of course not a SERIOUS game, but it tries to say something even if it does give up. In my experience Bethesda games are allergic to having a message or point.

  • I personally loved it. I finished it quicker than most games I’ve played the last few years. I was actually surprised. It’s not a long game by any means, but still.

I didn’t love that it started a bit more radical and became more lib over time, but I still enjoyed the writing and gameplay quite a bit. It’s silly fun, and it’s not pretending not to be. It does have a message, but it’s not overtly drab or serious.

  • What if you were born into a Thornberries esque family, grew up traveling the world as your researcher and adventurer parents did their studies in the wilds, ancient ruins etc.

You fell in love with adventure and ancient mysteries, so after graduating from adventurer college (you were a legacy admission), you intern for [initial quest giver for campaign].

Easy one, done off the top of my head.

  • Cool little story and all, but Canada is the furthest thing away from socialist.

Socialism is not when the government does stuff. And the more stuff it does, it doesn’t get more socialist. Even if it does A LOT of stuff, it still won’t be communism.

Socialism/communism is the method and path through which the working class will liberate itself. It’s the death of classes and class struggle through the dictatorship of the proletariat.

  • Most people have fallen for neolib propaganda… of “we don’t have enough money for free universal healthcare”, “if you want free university we’ll need to raise taxes” etc etc.

They think the government is a household.

  • As I said, the initial inflation was caused by supply chains shock. Many countries had lockdowns. Like China, who produces the majority of everything anyone purchases around the world. Then when the lockdowns ended there was a shortage of shipping containers.

Inflation is caused when money is printed and sits in financialized investment. If it’s used to increase productivity it causes the opposite.

China has been running massive deficits (printing money like crazy) for over a decade and they have very consistent and low inflation.

  • It’s just that this argument, based on things that are not facts since the 70s, is used to cut social programs, investment in education, infrastructure etc.

When it makes no sense. The gvmt is not gonna go broke from paying its programs. It prints its own money, and all its debt is denominated in dollars.

We SHOULD cut military spending, subsidies to harmful industries, to private prisons, police forces etc. The way the money is spent SHOULD reflect the will of the people more.

But this argument about “revenue” and “public debt” are literally from the mouths of establishment neoliberal ghouls who have no objective other than enriching their friends. It’s not reality and is only used for harm.

  • That was only true when money had any relation to a physical good like gold.

Fiat money dominates, and it’s not bound by anything.

Like I’m not saying any crazy conspiracy theory. It’s just how the world has worked since Nixon…
