  • The media still doesn't know how to deal with Trump. Part of it is deliberate, but a part of this is possible because he's exploiting fundamental truths about political discourse - when the US president talks about acquiring, annexing, or conquering more territory, it is actually news. There's no world in which it's not news. Even if the intent is distraction.

  • Isn't Low Carb debunked?

What does this even mean? Nobody that I know of has ever asserted that low carb diets are the only way to lose weight. Low carb diets tend to reduce appetite which helps in achieving a calorie deficit, that's all .

  • Plus, PP is one of the weakest and most snivelling career politicians this country has ever seen, and people recognize that.

He's a career attack dog. But when people are angry at the sitting government, all a ln opposite leader has to do is reflect that anger to get votes and he does that.

I agree that in principle he he can be defeated, but at this point it's a steep uphill battle and doing so would constitute a major political upset.

  • I mean I agree that Merchan was comically lenient here, but it's not his fault that American voters re-elected Trump. Nobody knows what it means to try to jail a sitting president, nobody. The system is designed in a way that assumes that American voters would never vote for a convicted criminal. That isn't the case, so the whole system fails.

  • For a benchmarks designed to test printer performance, isn't this a good thing? Allowing derivative works would allow a printer manufacturer to modify a benchy model to best suit their printer's strengths, potentially defeating the purpose.

It would be one thing to try to charge people for benchy, but that's not happening. This sort of seems reasonable? Or am I wrong?
