In Ontario we have a mechanism that allows us to donate our tax returns to the government to help pay provincial debt. Is there ant type of mechanism in BC that allows citizens to voluntarily give money to pay down provincial debt? Perhaps you should look into that if you want to give the province your money.

You don't care that the government is playing favorites / effectively sole-sourcing multi-million dollar contracts and just handing out money for effectively nothing to businesses?

Have you been living under a rock? This has been all over the news for at least 6 months.

Two of the biggest things that the Auditor General found is that the contractor who won the bid to make it helped develop the bid requirements (massive conflict of interest) and the true cost of the program will never be known because record keeping/management of the project was so poor (inc. a significant amount of invoices that were paid without any supporting documentation describing what they were for).

If the rich start getting victimised on a large scale, things will change one way or another.

Law enforcement? Why bother, only poor people are affected by crime.

I mean, this is not strictly true, there's plenty of examples in history where rich people got their asses kicked in various revolutions. Canadians just need to grow some balls.

And that's not including this whole bail / light sentencing fiasco. Nobody would be calling for mandatory minimums if courts were handing out maximums / near maximums of their own volition on a regular basis.

Historically this very incorrect, and most of the Conservatives I know don't trust the polls even if the CPC is ahead and so have no desire to participate.

Because Israel has been trying to genocide the Palestinians for at least a decade and a half according to this infographic, and according to others since the creation of the current state of Israel in 1948 (which is really just an indigenous population returning to their millennial-long ancestral home) and the Palestians are are not only there, but the population is growing.

Canada has a fuckload of land, there's no reason for MST of the population to cram into tiny spaces.

Edit: And I would consider the suburbs of any major centre to be part of that area, not a separate area.

My family makes slightly under $100k / year and I consider our life to be comfortable.

I have several friends with Kidd that are under the $150k/year mark that live comfortably as far as I know. The only one that doesn't is the one that wants to live in a major urban centre (who also happen to be the ones with the highest income by far).

Not really sure what you want me to say... Plenty of people with kids are living comfortably with kids making far less than $250k/year as a combined family.
