  • True, though it'd be nice if it were legally recognised.

Also, governments are responsible for the most murders in history (excluding actual wars.... which are also caused by governments) so wanting to protect yourself from the state isn't a massive leap in logic or conspiracy's territory.

  • Yeah, all the supposed centrists really buggered that one up. Didn't exactly take a genius to figure out that if the LPC won 2021 they were highly unlikely to win the next election.

  • My family doctor asked what my wife thought before scheduling me in, as did the doctors of my friends who've had them. My doctor wasn't too aggressive about it but the doctors of some of my friends were.

For people that are single it shouldn't be an issue but I feel like it's a good a back check on people who are married (or common law with kids)... You shouldn't be making decisions like that on your own if you're in a dedicated relationship and if the two if you can't come to a common consensus the whole relationship needs some major work (or to end).

  • Well yeah, no shit, in this particular situation the CPC has everything to gain by saying nothing:

NDP supports the Liberals, CPC rallies around them abaonding the working class and gains votes.

NDP doesn't support the Liberals, we end up with an election that the CPC will likely win a majority in.

In the off chance that the NDP doesn't support the Liberals but BQ does then it's much of a win for the CPC other than that some Liberals support will bleed to the NDP (and BQ in Quebec)

  • I 100% agree with this, but instead we have rulings like Khill.

Despite the government and courts discouraging it, I hope more citizens take matters into their own hands in ways that increase the actual risk to car thieves. Perhaps the government will start taking it seriously after that.
