I feel like a lot of people have never done a long road trip where you're driving hundreds of miles through the night. Taking your phone out and snapping a pic isn't a huge deal IMO. I certainly don't pull over to change my radio and taking a picture is arguably easier than that.

These people are a threat to democracy. They want to dismantle public education and turn schools into religious/nationalist indoctrination centers. Remember all the hype about "madrassas" and "they want to implement Sharia law in the US" from the right wing about a decade ago? Projection just like it always is with them.

With the now-stacked Supreme Court and increasing-gerrymandering making representation even more difficult. A brutal police force who're excited to use the toys they've been given against their fellow citizens; rubber bullets and tear gas, MRAPs and Drones; things are getting scary.

Don't fetter the man.

That entire side of the street is his houses, they all look completely different and were built at different times but they're all very nice houses and people love them.

The right wing spent the last 70 years building a machine. They have think tanks of ivy league educated minds to shape their policy, armies of PR men to craft the talking points and a thousand talking heads across all media to preach it.

It's very deliberate propaganda designed to manipulate people using base emotions like anger and fear. I agree the base isn't particularly smart but the messaging is specifically designed to invoke an emotional reaction so they can't think critically.

The current political climate would suggest far right groups are actually pretty good at organizing and it's the left who needs to get their shit together and mobilize.

Nutritional yeast is great on popcorn! It has a slightly cheesy taste to me. It adds another layer of flavor to simple buttery salty popcorn.

That's fair, I'm not a fan of big bulky ones (which is most mens watches) but something nice and slim with a good aesthetic and some shiny bits to catch the light can be a really piece of jewelry on the right occasion.

They absolutely are, they're one of the more "acceptable" accessories a guy can really flex with.

Shoes and watches, everyone likes nice shoes/boots and watches.

They're nearly the same thing, by pretending they're going to impeach Biden they make it seem impeachments are no big deal and are boring procedural matters, providing cover to Trump by minimizing his. They don't even need to bring it to a vote if they can get enough media coverage "investigating" the current McGuffin of the week.
