When I have kids I will allow them to go on the Internet, but I will teach them about where to find good content and stuff like that.
They will ultimately have to learn how to do this anyway, so its better to teach them early.
And I dont want to completely block their internet access because their classmates will have it too and it sucks to be the only one who doesnt, you just dont fit in quite as well and arent able to talk about stuff from the internet if you dont know anything about it. (I am speaking from experience)
Its the same with the paper straws while disposable electronic cigarettes are still allowed, which not only contain plastics, but also electronics and a rechargeable lithium cell.
All the while a reusable vape works just as well, while paper straws just suck and they even contain plastic as well.
I think touch controls make sense in cars, but only for navigation and advanced settings, like for how long the headlights should stay on when you leave the car, should the mirrors fold when you lock the car, stuff like that.
I guess we are pretty lucky over here in Germany then.
We may have had some consolidation in the last few years, but there are still quite a few different grocery store companies competing.
The big ones are Aldi, Lidl, Rewe, Edeka, Netto, Penny and Norma. Quite a few of them own other supermarket chains as well, but those arent in my list.
Our supermarket market is so competitive that even companies like walmart failed to enter it (they also didnt do away with weird US customs, which probably didnt help).
I already had adblock before the whole stupid adblock block.
I support the creators I watch, can listen to videos with the screen off, and I also use YT Music, so its a good deal for me.
I can however understand anyone who doesnt want to pay for YT Premium and doesnt want to be blasted by scam ads.
Ads shouldnt be this annoying.
I would say risk taking isnt always bad and not always illogical.
But yeah, as a man I know what you mean when you talk about testosterone and risk taking.
I imagine it used to have quite a lot of benefits back when we were still sleeping in caves, shure you might die when facing a mammoth, but you could also feed the whole tribe for weeks when you succeed.
I think you forgot the part where capitalism makes peoples life worse and worse, while at the same time conservative media blames the left for it, even if they are the cause.
Because in the End people dont vote for fascists because its funny, but because they believe they can get them out of a shitty situation (Fascism doesnt do that obviously, but people get blinded by propaganda).
We wouldnt have this issue today if politicians werent all neoliberal and actually cared about poor people.
That window design looks like it would never seal properly.
Here in Germany any window from the last 30 years or more will not let any air in when its fully closed.
Seriously, I cant even start to understand why someone would just throw out trash, especially in nature and especially when in a car, its not like you would even have to carry it yourself.
I have ADHD and Autism too and this happens to me as well.
I think the autism makes it harder to understand people with background noise and the ADHD makes me blurt out "huh?".
After I have already said it, my mind will go over what has been said a few times and try to figure out what could have been said and it will probably figure it out.
In Germany we have hardware stores (is that the right description of stores like home depot?) that have a covered outdoor section where you can drive in with your car/ trailer and load up construction supplies and then pay.
If you are a real professional you probably go to "stores" that only sell building materials to businesses or you just get your materials delivered directly to the job site.
I cant even max out my 1gbit with steam because they use compression and my CPU just cant decompress fast enough.
