At the same time the last egg price spike was happening in the US, one of the largest market share producers just so happened to have a 65% YoY profit increase. Go figure.

The sweet spot for me was buying cars in roughly the 6 year rage. Specifically Toyotas and Hondas. My last car was an '06 Accord and it was a fantastic car. Affordable to buy, no bullshit, cheap to repair and required repairs rarely, drove great, solid interior. I would have kept driving it for another 5-10 years easy if I hadn't moved to a country/city where driving is totally unnecessary.

My buddy bought it off me and did some minor things to it and is still happily driving as his daily commuter right now.

I love how open carry was banned in California by Republican legislation and the law was signed by fucking none other than conservative golden calf, Ronald Reagan.

There's no moral or logical consistency until you realize everything they do is self serving and any given stance is subject to change whenever convenient.

This is also a story about America’s senseless relationship with firearms and the frequent costs that incurs innocent people every year.

Turns out there's a surprisingly simple way to avoid that whole situation...

Austin isn't even that much cheaper and property tax in TX is heinous compared to CA.

Also their logic for everything doesn't scale. They'll say, "sure! post offices are a-ok!" but then be like "well obviously you shouldn't be able to bring a loaded handgun into the cabin of a commercial flight, or attend a presidential speech with a sniper rifle." And their gun friendly politicians definitely ban guns at their rallies and conventions.

And everybody loves being an originalist on the issue until you start talking about the whole "well regulated militia" component of the amendment.

I live in the EU now and sure we have illegal guns in this country, but the fact is that the firearm homicide rate per capita is 27 times higher in the US than it is here. And gun suicides rates are over 30 times higher per capita in the US. When someone gets shot here it's big fucking news. You don't have to worry about some kind of drunken social transgression erupting into gunfire.

The US is fucking ridiculous on this topic.

It is honestly embarrassing as shit spending 3 hours of your time on a weekend arguing with like a dozen people in defense of one of the highest market cap megacorps in the world. Get a hobby dude.
