Covid finally got to me. Grocery order got half delivered so my housemate went to sims footscray a week ago and got the Schroeder Special (coining it as Schrovid). Now I have it so I'm just resting at home with a fever. Quite an anticlimactic end to my covid free streak. Hopefully my chronic fatigue doesn't play up after this. Am I meant to be doing anything other than resting and staying hydrated? I'm just planning on exclusively resting and playing Baldur's Gate 3 for the foreseeable future lol
You're not alone. This isn't normal and you're not crazy for not wanting to be spied on just for making the mistake of going outside and walking past someone's house.
Do you have two bootloader entries in the BIOS? Or were you using GRUB (or Systemd-boot) to boot between them?
It's probably easy to fix, it's just knowing exactly what happened is probably the most complicated step lol
Hope you're able to fix it. Having the different OSes on different drives (portable drive in case of laptop) seems to cause the least amount of issues with boot entries dying after updates.
WM (Edit: compositor, you know what I mean): Hyprland, Wayfire (close second)
I really like how stable and polished XFCE feels, but I've got into tilling/dynamic window managers over the past few years so I just use Hyprland now. It's not as stable and whenever there's a bad commit and I can't be bothered looking into it I just use Wayfire and praise the spinning cylinder and rotating windows for a few weeks.
I found the model. Apparently it's meant to annoy cats, dogs, and some other animals. Still can hear it (as well as a friend my age). It's on private property and I don't live next to it so I don't think I have a good case for going to EPA, but I'll be emailing my council tomorrow as they say you can report noise hazard to them.
Are sonic weapons illegal here? Trying to figure out if it's worth complaining to the council about a mosquito-like device. My ears feel like they are gonna bleed after walking near it, I can't imagine what children and other animals go through when being near it :(
The closest one to me says that the from the 29th something suddenly polluted the air. Not sure what it is, but could be bushfires or a factory mishandling something.
The one in Sandringham says the air's worse for some reason. Currently at "unhealthy". Best to stay indoors.
Just don't update the printer's firmware! Mine's being going great for years now, but I'm scared that I might accidentally update it and the toner will be labeled unauthorised
Thanks. How is your sense of smell going? Remember you commenting that you lost it a bit ago, hope it comes back :)
