The best Emulators of 2024

  • They are working with a unpaid team of volunteers vs a billion dollar company owned by a trillion dollar company with 100's of employee's.

  • Nexon

that's a hard pass, no doubt they will push micro transactions to never before heard of realms.

  • Unity in a few years when investors want money again

  • I mean it is a story since they used their own engine before and it affected development. Bet to a lot of people not into live service games this is more interesting than whatever they are making.

  • How about none of them? But Sony has far less power in this space anyway.

  • We have our own issues to solve first and foremost . I live in a major Canadian city and I've never seen maga people, I honestly blame those people watching too much American politics in the first place.

  • It's going to be more convenient and economical just streaming games and renting them forever and then upping the subscription rates and making them exclusive to game stream platforms.

  • You basically get the energy rocket launcher and the two teams fight each other till they run out of spawn tickets. You can't switch the primary out for another and no AI or Titans from what I saw. Also it's 2x XP. I'm not that fond of it tbh maybe I just suck.

  • I'm totally okay with that, I don't think Microsoft represents a positive force in gaming or in technology in general.

  • First they will take away your disk trays and then they will take away your hard drives. That's a big no from me.

  • Holy monopoly if that happened. Also imagine the damage to Japanese culture if one of their treasured companies was owned by a company in another country.

  • Is Arkane going to start making good games again? After Colantonio stepped down and everything after Prey I'm going to say that's gonna be a no. Will love to be proven wrong.

  • Probably because companies do their best to hide most metrics of purchases and players. Remember when some smart fella used the hyper accurate steam achievements to be able to derive how many people owned a game? Steam patched that out and now the best metric is based on number of review scores but that depends on the game, genre and score rating etc...

  • Agreed, there are very very few actually good experience on mobile and most of those got ported to PC. Too bad non mobile devs have to suffer because Unity see's a easily exploitable goldmine in mobile gaming.

  • Its unbelievable this is going to get an expansion.

  • Streamers usually people who play games for 4-8+ hours almost every day with a face cam and a running chat. Twitch is the main website for these people.

  • This looks more like a very polished indie game then a new game in the prince of persia series. I don't know how I feel about popular 3d franchises going back to their roots instead of making new 3d experiences. They did it with rayman too, but I didn't grow up with 2d rayman/prince of persia so it's not that interesting to me.

  • It's like crawling back to an abusive partner thinking things wont get worse.
