  • I had this happen too. The time on my phone was overlappping with the post…

  • Gonna go ahead and block him myself

  • I subscribed but I see no posts

  • Did that. Still really want to see Steve Huffman fired. And hopefully humiliated and shunned.

  • Still getting paid millions for a job he completely sucks at.

  • Add him to the list of asshat CEO’s who are universally loathed by customers of the company, yet the board lets them keep the job because the users won’t inconvenience themselves enough to force their hands. I’m looking at you, people who kept using Reddit. If we (the average American consumer) had principles and any stomach for protest we could get Huffman and Iger fired in a matter of weeks or months.

  • My man. Lol. I use your Lemmy and mastodon instances have donated to support … appreciate all you do! I don’t know how you have time to read and comment 😄

  • pixelfed is very appealing I was just a little surprised that the video I had posted elsewhere didn’t work there at all…if the file format and size are concerning I’m hesitant to go all in 🫤

  • Every article or post being made about this should include Bo Burnham’s “Pandering” at the end…he already said everything needed to say and killed it.

  • I don’t see the app in my system options at all. I wonder if I’m doing something wrong 😭

  • Are you sure? Lol

  • I haven’t seen that. Would love notifications…didn’t know web apps could

  • Hmm…interesting. I didn’t know Chrome was smart enough to use less ram if the system is taxed. Figured it just always used a shit ton…which sucks if you’re editing videos or something and need to open a browser or something.

  • Ok…so I’m aware there is a feature “check for sensitive media” that parents can turn on and AI can send an alert to you if it seems like your kid might be texting nude pics….only works with iMessage since apple doesn’t have access to photos in other apps. No human sees the photos. But that isn’t the same as what you’re saying and I don’t know if what you’re saying is accurate.

  • Exactly, should a web browser need to be a complete operating system, or can it just show you the damn internet? Feeling like a cranky old man here

  • Yep. They really doubled down on privacy/security and it’s pretty admirable. The President doesn’t use an android or a blackberry for a reason. (Well, two in the case of blackberry. Security and existing). If only there were no other problematic areas of Apple’s business (manufacturing, wages, environmental impact).

  • Ok we agree I would love to see it as well 😬😂

  • I’ve loved Chrome (on windows) for many years but at this point when you open task manager it’s practically using up more resources than the operating system. Because it is. It’s essentially like running a second operating system…
