  • Nothing in Lemmy, but we can set up something simple in the app. Let me look into it.

  • That’s a top tip! I’ll update our instructions to our users. Thanks!

  • Hmm, how does this look?

(A screenshot of a screenshot, very on point for today)

  • All the best apps have a name change, best to get it out of the way early :-)

  • Okay, that’s good news then. I mean, I don’t understand the outline bug yet, but at least that’s just a UI glitch.

  • I’m not seeing this, I do notice that the bookmark indicator sometimes becomes outlined rather than filled, but going back to my bookmarks it’s still there.

If other people are seeing this please comment in this post which I have now bookmarked to come back to!

  • Oooh a bot, nice!

  • It’s not just you, it’s all of us. But what people really regret when they are facing the end is perhaps different from your fears as expressed here.

    Five wishes of the dying:

    1. “I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.”
    2. “I wish I hadn't worked so hard.”
    3. “I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.”
    4. “I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.”
    5. “I wish I had let myself be happier”

  • Having read the discussion here, I've added some help text to the accounts screen that might help people with these kinds of issues. Should be in the next build.

I've also logged an issue for directly selecting your default instances https://github.com/liftoff-app/liftoff/issues/354

  • Ok, it seems that swiping on the left side is sometimes triggering “back” a second time. On the right side this never seems to happen. As you said, it must have to do with the built in swipe function

Thanks for investigating for us 😄. Raised as https://github.com/liftoff-app/liftoff/issues/350

  • Okay thanks, we’ll get it logged and sorted.

  • Let us know if you do isolate it to that. Sounds like it should be a simple one to fix.

  • You need to log in again. See the pinned post for why and how.
