Sorry I thought you’d done it deliberately as a subtle joke. Are you saying that you don’t see that the first image is slightly slanted and the third one is slanted the other way?
That’s not really true though. We got home video because it allowed us to watch films at home. There’s an argument that VHS won over Betamax because Sony didn’t allow porn titles on Betamax. Even if that’s true, it was only an advantage for VHS because there was no other easy way to get that content.
Now there is no problem with accessing porn on the internet. In fact the differentiator for many service providers is how to successfully protect households and schools from porn. If Lemmy becomes known as “the porn network”, little Johnny is going to find that loophole closed in short order.
I was really pleased to find a thread where BANNED was used. If anyone can point me to a thread where BANNED FROM COMMUNITY has been used in anger, that’s going straight into my bookmarks.
Bore da, we no longer support that weblate setup, so we do need to update that page.
In the meantime, if you want to get an idea of the task ahead of you, have a look at this file. Each piece of text starting >>> indicates a missing Welsh translation. As you can see, there's a lot to do there. If you're involved in any Welsh-speaking communities it might be a nice shared activity that could spark some interesting discussion.
If this suddenly seems very daunting, don't worry, we will get there eventually.
I don’t know if it would help here, but we do hook into the deep-linking functionality if you use the “liftoff” protocol, so rewriting a link such as https://lemmy.world/post/1506733 to be liftoff://lemmy.world/post/1506733 would open it in Liftoff!
This prompted me to write a little Shortcuts script to add to my share sheet for iOS now. Is there something similar that could be done on Android?
Haha, no it’s all good, and you making the transcription was very thoughtful, but now you’ve seen it you’ll never be able to unsee it.
