Today I watched A Titus video about customizing his terminal to make it less ugly. And to install new fonts he had to type some weird commands to find where those files were stored and some other alien commands to get them installed.
Do you know what I don't have to do in windows to get a font installed ? None of that. Open the file like normal people do and click install. No wizardry spells to learn
Don't try to do client work bound to a deadline on gimp. Because the stress will make you close gimp at the simplest inconvenience. That's what happened to me. But trying to work with it on my free time. And installing the photogimp addon helped alot. Gimp still has a long way to go.
Next. They should drop everything and solely focus on improving ux & ui . Every time I open gimp to try and get acclimated to it, I close it back out of frustration. Nothing is intuitive in that software. Not even the naming of the tools settings.
