How about movies like Fast and the Furious where every single fight scene is ridiculous? They really don't care about realism in those movies. I watch like 10 minutes and then I turn it off because it's like watching a computer animation.
Depends on your own attitude too. If you are nice, you get treated nice. That's my experience anyway. Maybe not in some communities like politics, I don't follow those...
It's just a better operating system. It stays out of the way and doesn't bother you with a billion alerts about shit, and it doesn't update your computer when you don't want to, it doesnt install ads you don't want...
I could go on but you get the picture. Linux is freedom from dealing with Microsoft shit all day.
I think being depressed is perfectly natural when being on this planet. But since it makes your life worse, it's important to know how to think about something else so you don't feel sad all the time (which is natural considering how shitty it all is). Human leaders are at a very primitive stage of mental evolution and we all suffer because of that.
I get excited about computers and tech so I focus a lot on that in my life. You need to find something that feels fun and exciting despite the world being shit. Also I stopped watching news like 15 years ago and I'm ignorant now of all the things that happen every day. Feels better.
Yeah I remember everyone having a lot of respect and you would hear things like "it's a maxis game so it's going to be awesome".
I wish I could go back to that age sometimes because I don't get nearly as excited about games anymore as an adult, and that's a shame. It was great to be really excited about a game like that.
I liked sim ant too. Also it's amazing that the brain remembers those games still, it's been like over 30 years... But they made a super strong impression at that age.
Without that feeling that the hero may lose (which doesn't exist in 99% of movies now), it's just so boring to watch. Zzzz.
