tamago kake gohan, it’s basically raw eggs mixed with rice
Haha, that's literally all it is. As someone who's eaten it many times, don't get your hopes up. It's the "I've just woken up after drinking last night and only sleeping 4 hours but I gotta go to work and I can't be fucking bothered to cook" breakfast.
By the way, the caldera in the middle of this post is inactive. The one that blew up is the one in this pic (the smoke/steam rising from the ground in the back)
It's among the world's largest active volcano's, and most recently erupted in October 2021. This pic is from when I hiked up there in the end of August / beginning of September, 2021.
This is honestly my favorite place in the entire world. Summer, Fall, Winter, it doesn't matter, if you ever get a chance to visit Japan, this is where you should hike. Starting at Yumoto hot springs, you walk through a pristine, dark, claustrophobic forest and past two beautiful hidden lakes, and then finally the whole world opens up into this amazing mountain valley that's in the picture. Then you hike up a sheer cliff and go a couple more kilometers and I shit you not there's this refreshment stand in the middle of nowhere that sells ice cream made from milk straight from the cows on the farm next door. It's one of the most surreal, amazing experiences I've ever had.
Take it from someone who was around back then, you didn't really miss much. The NES revitalized video gaming and brought the industry back from near-death, but the SNES/Gensis era was truly the golden age of gaming. Maybe because the tech NES was so limited or something, but most of the early franchises back set the stage for greater heights, but other than Super Mario 3 nothing is really worth going back to. Zelda, Super Metroid, Sonic, Final Fantasy, Mega Man X, Contra, Tetris, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Castlevania, Phantasy Star, Chrono Trigger, Mother 2/Earthbound, F-zero, Star Fox, Donkey Kong, etc etc etc etc all REALLY got their start, and became what they are today, in the 90s with the SNES and Genesis
One that never clicked with me back when it came out was Halo. Everyone else claims it's this amazing, must play game, but I just couldn't get through it. I even tried again this year and bought the Master Chief edition in t he steam sale for $10, but got bored with it by the time you board the Covenant ship. I really want to know what I'm missing here, but to me it seems like a cookie cutter FPS with the most basic, boring-ass story. Sincerely asking, what makes this game so good?
This is exactly it. And any salesman worth their salt will lead with a question about your budget or how much you'd like to spend so they can know how much they can gouge you
Do what @zebs said, but additionally restrict posting to only approved users and set yourself as the only one approved. Also use a script to delete all posts there and repost them here. People will go where the content is, so give them a reason to switch
Monster Hunter Rise might be good. It's more simplified compared to other Monster Hunters, so it's perfect for someone new to the series. The basic gameplay loop is pick a monster to hunt, go find it, fight it, loot it, go back to town, upgrade gear, repeat. But it's single player or 4 player co-op, so you're completely free to enjoy at your own pace. No need to worry about grinding for the best gear or anything like that, but you can spend hours getting the meta armor too if that's your thing. Plus, jumping around like a ninja is pretty cool
The reason reddit worked so well for so long was primarily due to downvoting. There's drawbacks and it could certainly be improvedb, ut having a system where those who contribute rise to the top, while those who don't get filtered out makes it worth it.
Everyone should know the glory that is Dick Assman!
