  • Rose water is meh, but the worst part of turkish delights is the gelatin style chew. I also have a mild walnut allergy which makes them taste "scratchy" to me, so i doubt that helped when I tried it.

  • Yeah IT is intensely customer focused, either via direct support or project planning and coordination with execs/etc at the higher levels.

You have to have deeply arcane technical knowledge, but also at least passable social skills and patience to do the work well.

  • Turkish delights tend to be terrible. Insanely chewy and sticky, floral and just unpleasant. I also tried some sweet "goat cheese and spice lollipop" candy from mexico i didn't care for much.

Black licorice fucks though. I'll stand with the swedes on this one.

  • That's the supposition, yeah. That some people just assume its lactose intolerance when it's really "common milk protien" intolerance. Since this other milk comes from cows without that protein in the milk, it shouldn't bother you as much.

That's effectively where I'm at. A2 bothers me less than normal milk, but not to the degree that i can just drink it or anything. If i cant avoid milk, I try to cook/bake with A2 if possible, and lactose free if not. Both help, but the A2 helps more. Lactose free A2 would probably be best for me, but ive never seen it in stores.

  • Try A2 milk. It's from cows that produce milk without a specific protein that tends to bother lactose intolerant people.

Lactose free still bothers me to some degree, but A2 doesn't as much. The biggest issue it has is the sky high price.

  • Youve minimized login risk, but not any 0 days or newly discovered vulnerabilites in your ssh server software. Its still best to not directly expose any ports you dont need to regularly interact with to the internet.

Also, Look into crowdsec as a fail2ban replacement. Its uses automatically crowdsourced info to pre block IPs. A bit more proactive compared to abuseipdb manual reporting.

  • Telsas total european market share this month is 1.2%, down from 1.8% last may. The chinese market share is 5.9%, not 5.6%.

5.9% vs 1.2% is a 5x sales rate for chinese cars versus Teslas. According to the article, china doubled its EU market share in the last year, while Tesla lost 30% of its market share in the same time period.

The title is not sensational. If anything, your comment is a bit misleading by not listing the tesla EU market share.

  • Ive noticed this more and more. Even higher end brands arent doing real QA anymore. The same size and cut of pants on the same shelf at a store will fit differently. Same goes for shoes. Same pair is slightly wrong in one color compared to another.

QA costs money, and actually making sure your suppliers follow your specs doesn't seem to matter to brands anymore.

  • The new innovation is to reduce the people on a project and then demand it go faster. If it doesnt, you just have to add more meetings about why its not until it does.

9 Pregnant women can't have a baby in a month? Just fire 8 of them and demand the 1 left has her baby next week.

It didn't work last time? Well, Im sure it'll work this time.

  • A homeland security spokeswokan said he "would never walk free on american soil" after some racist shit about him being an "illegal alien" that is not literally not true, as hes here legally.

They will immediately try to deport him to try to make this bullshit trial go away to save face.
