Maybe this will help people finally make their apps work on Wayland. I hate so much to install a "privacy-friendly" software or even something related to security and discover it only works under X.
It's one of the things that I hated at first when moving from Windows, but then I got so used to it I just can't live without it. Whenever I use Windows, I would try to quickly copypaste text using selection, doing so for 5-10 seconds, until I realise this is not a thing on this OS.
Those protests were so big I only found a single article about them. Protesting means doing at the very least what the French were doing. Block roads, wreck havoc, make transphobes disappear. Raising a big group of people would only work if they were organised and could, ahem, do something to the government.
Voting is only impactful to a certain, little, extent, when the government tells LGBTQ community they don't and/or shouldn't exist and the plan to fight back is to vote harder then something isn't right.
Is ignorance a national sport in the West? Organise, rally people, strike, protest, annoy the shit out of lawmakers who threaten you.
Gather a big force that could potentially organise a big riot.

Subjugating the enemy’s army without fighting is the true pinnacle of excellence.
That means you, most likely, won't have to actually riot, if they see the community is organised they won't risk a direct confrontation and would give in to your demands.
There are tons, tons of guides online on how to protest, organise, even how to go full guerilla. Just do not let your existance depend on a freaking vote.
You don't have to, but you could run into issues because when a kernel is updated its modules are unloaded. So, for example, you won't be able to load external drives until you reboot or manually load the needed module.
The first one sounds interesting as hell, I will create it a bit later, if nobody already did. If you did (hopefully, not on lemmy.world), please drop me a message with a universal link, I'd gladly help posting some content and even moderating the community.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted. I love arcade racing games, simulators can be annoying sometimes. The graphics were also pretty good at the time. I also really like the customisation options, nothing better than making your car feel really yours.
The OST is very special to me. It helped me form my current music taste. Hell, I still listen to it from time to time. I have also discovered my favourite band, Mastodon, through the soundtrack.
But the best part were the cop pursuits. Oh, the sweet sweet adrenaline from dodging car blocks and SUVs etc. I remember how hard my heart was beating every time I was running away from cops after completing every objective, listening to them communicating on the radio, hoping none of them would be on my way to the nearest shelter.
Edit: since you probably use systemd-boot, as I can see from your post, obviously the grub part of my comment shouldn't be done. Replace those parts with systemd-boot reinstallation. Even better if pacman will update it, because there's probably some hook already to do things manually and you won't have to touch systemd-boot at all
In 2023 an AI could produce lesser bs than this article.
