This is question for each and every open source software ever.

Making new stuff is fun. Polishing it to the point where no one will have problem with it, those last 5-most-boring-percents, is soul sucking.

Do you want music player that someone enjoyed making it? Or you want one where someone that was bored doing it and you don't even know who that is? (this is first time i heard of musicbee, maybe they had fun and were enjoying making it, but i couldn't find any name attached to that software. is it just one guy or multiple teams?)

Even if it wasn't true for musicbee, it is true for most software out there.

People are writing different opinions, but you are right, best IDEs are comercial software.

I think it is just because it takes a lot of time and effort on boring stuff to make this tools smooth. Generally in open source we work on fun parts and leave those boring last 20% unfinished, which is ok with me.l

People have different definitions of capitalism, and cound different side effects into that definition.

While you are correct in your claims, it does look like you are not seeing negative effects it has on society and economy.

Similar thing happens with the other side, they usually put criminal activities (like corporations poisoning people) into definition of capitalism or they directly blame it for that kind effect on humans.

I think that is just not really accepting the nature of humans.

Shit will happen in every *isam and each one will be good for something.

That doesn't mean we shouldn't challenge everything that we see as bad, and there is no need to make those classifications.

My problem is quality of the platform went down with higer quality of production. Those with better production are doing better than those with quality content. Additionally it started looking like TV network with dozen big shows, and not enough random content. Ex. they always recommend me videos with 1M+ views, even thou a I want only ones with less than 100k.

I have been dusting of my podcast players for some time. I like to have a video, but looks like price is too high for me. Audio will be good.
