I'm a web dev and one "hack" I use all the time is bookmarklets. In Chrome @bookmarks let's you search your bookmarks, so I use this to fire off different scripts to do different things. Most are for debugging and the like. I have my hotkeys setup where ctrl + q puts focus on the omnibar so I can start typing, and then I use @books marks to search for whatever I need. A lot of the bookmarklets just append the current url to some other site like page speed insights or pure.md. I find this saves me a ton of time. Also the duplicate this tab hotkey, I use that all day every day.
And you can get such small ones now! My spouse has one she keeps in her purse where the strap is just a thin wire that retracts into the unit. It's not even uncomfortable! Needless to say I'm jealous!
Awesome! Thank you so much, I have floss picks that I hate as they're crappy and break or stretch out before I can do my whole mouth so I end up using two. Definitely printing this when I get home!
As I understand it melatonin doesn't necessarily help you to stay asleep, so I found it to be a game changer when I switched to a time release melatonin. Now if I wake in he middle of the night I find it much easier to fall back asleep.
We used to have public street cars where I live that took people up and down the hill, but they sold out to a car company. I believe it lasted 2 years before the car company shut it down all together. Wild stuff!
My shop is about half and half, and I wouldn't say that the devs with macs are afraid of technology, but I would say they don't look real comfortable using a command prompt...
I've really been resisting getting into drones via my 3d printer. I just love the idea that I could print out parts and make my drone better and better!
Oh don't get me wrong, I believe recidivism is a real problem and that my brother got on the straight and narrow perhaps just as much inspite of his 4 years in prison as because of.
That's fair. I was also thinking how you can potentially whip up your own instance if you become unhappy oth your current one. Or if you don't like the moderation of a community you can start using a similar community on a different instance. There is a lot more freedom of choice here!
