Actually it's more like, "now we can justify spending more US tax dollars building even larger bombs that will penetrate deeper into underground bases."
I made this comment some time ago on another thread about YouTube ads.
With the sheer number of concurrent users, worldwide, 24/7, YouTube could show one ad every three or four videos, and still make a mind boggling amount of money.
But if some money is good, more must be better, right?
Oh fuck this....
I can't even look at my own code from a year or two ago and understand what the hell I was doing.
I learned some very basic COBOL back in high school (using punch cards), and that shit was confusing as hell.
There is no possible way that this ancient codebase could be migrated by a bunch of 20 year olds in such a short amount of time.
Makes me wonder if it would be a good idea to take down my "Hate has no home here" flag, that is prominently displayed in my yard.
We live in a very diverse neighborhood, and I'm happy to have this flag up. But I don't need any billy-jackoffs coming around causing a fuss, or worse.
I can't agree with this comment enough.
I finally picked this game up about six months ago. I get very little time to play, but I sneak in a short session when I can.
I told myself from the start that I wouldn't look up any information, just let the game take me where it goes, and I've had a blast. Even times when it's been an absolute bitch running back to collect my gear after getting stomped on.
