Right? I'm not normally a screamo fan, but I tend to overlook that when there's some real emotion in a song. Their other stuff is pretty amazing, also. Some of my favorites are The Drug In Me is Reimagined, Voices in My Head, Popular Monster, and I'm Not a Vampire.
That would be correct. I was in junior high or high school when Last Resort by Papa Roach was released. This version is so much more emotional, and given the lyrics, it fits!
Fuck off with this rhetoric, please. While we aren't going around torching ICE/cop vehicles and rioting, it doesn't mean we aren't doing anything at all. From protesting with millions across the country and world, to gun purchases and training, to local community outreach and support, things are not stationary.
The world news media is focused on the administration and pussyfooting around the lies and manipulation the administration keeps spewing, there's no media clicks to be had for preparation stories. It's not to the point of violence in the streets, yet, but that doesn't mean we aren't preparing for the possibility.
You wanna be shitty toward the American government as a Canadian, I'm all for it. But please don't conflate this administration with the American population at large. We are not our government and despite no news coverage, we are not idle.
So let me get this straight. A dude with no record and a judge order to prevent deportation, who didn't resist law enforcement during his kidnapping, gets whisked away to a torture prison without pause, but a dude breaks a pig's nose and gets to remain in the States? What incentive is there NOT to go down with the most violence you can against the abductors? When tRump is finally removed from power, hopefully with a hanging for treason, I hope the next president pardons people like Hector Villegas-Alvarez.

I'm so glad we couldn't fund all those aid programs with the money already set aside under the guise of cOsT sAvInGs so they still ended up increasing spending. Can we start asking them when they'll start hiring all the people back since we can now see how inefficient this administration is. I know the answer to that but one can only dream.
