Just finished playing Still Wakes the Deep and your character will do this. What's cool is it's not a scripted thing most of the time. If you jump from a height, he might yell out,

Oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck!

As you run toward the ledge to jump. If he has a rough landing, he'll grunt and say something like,

Holy fuck, that hurt

I know it's not scripted cause, and without spoilers, it's a game where you will fall to your death a lot! So restarting checkpoints is common. Good game though!

My passive SI won't let me run for any office, but it also allows me to donate to a lot of candidates cause saving money seems pointless. God speed to the younger, more hopeful generations in their attempt to right this ship. As an old millennial, I don't have any fight left in me, but I have money and a decent income.

My take: Conservatives fear liberal/progressive societal advances more than they fear fascism. It's the same way the DNC fears progressives and would rather lose the game than give progressives a platform. Conservatives love big business and fascism is the result when capitalists fear societal regulation and conservativism seems threatened.

There's that old thought experiment on who someone would take out of time travel existed. I used to think that Hitler would be a good target. However, seeing how many of the current issues started because of something Reagan gutted, reduced, or schemed to disrupt or remove makes him my new target. So much of our current shituation can be directly tied back to Reagan.

Yeah, in this day and age that will almost likely not take place. I work in IT and sometimes it feels like the stuff now is stuff that needs done now, and all attempts to safeguard against drastic fixes later is a little extra time now. However, I've had many times I had to put out fires I noted would happen down the road.

I really need to learn how to do that. I installed SuSE something on my laptop and selected that file system but couldn't find how to do the snapshot stuff. I'm sure I'm just dumb, but also exhausted, and mentally drained.
