Agreed on the older Bond; under 30 makes me think they're going for another Bond origins thing, bleh.

I've been pro-Matthew Goode in the role for ages. Apparently he wanted to do a grittier Bond, though, which... idk, I'd rather they go back to a slightly lighter/sillier tone.

I think one of the tricks is to purposefully plan time to cook that's not right before you're planning to eat, so it's an activity/hobby, not a necessity. If I have to cook when I'm hungry, I'll probably just make do instead, but if I say "ok, Saturday afternoon, I'm gonna make a pot of soup, because that'll be delicious later," it's a lot less dreadful, imo.

You might have a look at Darebee workouts/programs. Can search by 'upper', 'abs', etc to cut out a lot of stuff your foot might have trouble with.

It did: they gave Drummer Michio Pa's story in the last couple seasons.

It's not there if you're trying to do professional printing: I still see people complaining about messed up color profiles, exporting, etc. Otherwise, I've found it fairly ok, although pelespirit's right about the clunk here and there.

I would add The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values (1993) to your Funny and Spooky list. I'll also second the The Fog (1981) suggestion.

I wanted to see this thing in motion, so I tried to search up the youtube video, but no dice. Every article on it is just copy-pasted from the original on the Express site, and I can't get the embedded video attached to it to work. I did find an article on NIWA's site about a species of sea pig, which looks similar.

True, but I think maybe you missed this being about additive and subtractive color mixing.

Not Gamescom-related, but there was a Nintendo Direct that showed off some indie/partner games on the 27th, and a CoD thing today (the 28th), if either of those were what you were thinking of?

Only other thing that comes to mind is maybe the Future Games Show, but that was last week (list of trailers here).

Did a quick search, looks like ExeKiller, which isn't out yet. Hope you find something good to play in the meantime!

I'll second all of these, especially the lack of scrollbar and "expand text post in feed" button, and the hidden like/dislike buttons. The like/dislike vs upvote/downvote thing is tricky; I don't have a good solution for it, but maybe different icons that don't read as up/down would work.

Also, from a quick poke at things:

• There doesn't seem to be a way to switch the "For You" feed away from card view. I think it's fine if you want to make it a separate view setting from the main page, but I'd like to be able to change it to my view of choice.
• I'd like to see the post/comment body text tweaked for better readability: higher contrast against the background, a touch more space between lines, and a lighter weight (regular or medium) would all make reading long posts more pleasant, imo.
• In compact view, if I expand the attached image, there doesn't seem to be a way to shrink it back down, as clicking again opens the post.
• When viewing a post, there's a community sidebar on the right with all the rules and such, but that info is missing from the actual community detail page.
• The community sidebar on the post page scrolls separately from the rest of the post, which is weird to me on desktop. Giving it an "expand" button might be a good compromise, so you don't have the weird case of short post/long sidebar unless the user explicitly asks for it.
• Navigating front page > post page > community detail page, and then hitting back on the browser twice returns me to what the nav bar tells me is the front page, but only that one community's posts are shown. Refreshing or clicking "front page" fixes this, but it's a little confusing the first time.
• Navigating front page > community detail page doesn't trigger a... page load, I guess? My browser (firefox) doesn't recognize the community detail page as a separate page, so I can't hit back to go back to the main feed. Instead, I have to either refresh or click "front page".

Overall, though, this is super impressive!

If it helps, I found books 5 and 6 of The Expanse less obnoxious than the show re: the whole family drama thing (if, like me, that's where your biggest hangup is). I didn't enjoy them as much as previous entries, but book 7 (imo) goes back to being pretty solid.
