C’mon now. “Laptop monitor turn off” has never generated a good result
That's not what they're saying. They mean that if your search contains that or is somewhat adjacent (despite being more specific), your results will be drowned in it. For example, if you had something like "laptop monitor turn off when bla bla bla", 90% of the results will completely ignore what you've added.
I've got to deal with the same shit whenever I have to deal with complicated programming questions. Half the results will be related to some really basic mistake on the user's side that I haven't done, and I'll need to spend a lot of time trying to find the magical word combination that doesn't trigger those non-related issues and actually show me what I need.
It's honestly disheartening that this game was killed by greedy assholes. The concept of Brainiac taking over the Justice League, including Superman so the Suicide Squad has to be called-in has so much fun potential, especially with how Rocksteady handled the Arkham series.
I remember seeing that initial Superman reveal trailer and thinking "Oh shit! This is gonna be so cool!". Unfortunately, we've seen that it'll be a mess of shitty MTX and grind to keep people paying. Unless they straight-up killed it and started fresh, there's no saving it.
It's sad that this game will obviously just be an Avengers 2.0.
There's been an unfortunate trend of newly-built houses not running Ethernet cables. Here in Canada, at least. You can still run them yourself, but the average person probably isn't going to bother with it.
I've literally only talked to Shadowheart when the game forces me to (wanted to romance her on a different playthrough), and if I ask her about our relationship after the goblin stronghold she literally goes on and on about how I'm her closest confident and that she's a completely different woman now. All the other NPCs also offered to fuck during the celebration, despite me being confrontational with some of them.
This is after all the patches to romance stats, too.
Wish they didn't throw themselves at the player's feet so hard, to be honest.
Yeah, that's also what I use it for. Discovered that my ProtonMail subscription came with SimpleLogin now, but its UI/extension is kind of annoying to use compared to AnnonAddy (Addy.io now, I guess), so I kept paying for it. Was mostly pointing out that Addy.io isn't a mail service, they're a mail forwarding service (unless that's changed since they became Addy.io).
As a paying customer, it's good if you want a burner email address that forwards to your actual email address. Not sure if they're offering full blown mailing servers now, though. Pretty much does what I need it to do, personally.
But also, is 7c/fakefilter even popular? It seems to barely have a following on GitHub to begin with. Seems pretty over the top to claim that PM and SL (and any other provider on that list) will get blocked from registering on websites.
They regularly try to add things to break it, and uBlock's devs update it as fast as possible. They'll probably slow down on these breaking changes as it falls out of the spotlight and people slowly forget about it.
That was my impression too. The costumes and CG seemed a bit goofy to me.
But then again, so did the original Witcher trailer, and that ended-up looking mostly fine when I actually watched it, so...
As a developer, comments that talk about how ChatGPT is changing the development game confuse the hell out of me. What are you people doing that ChatGPT makes your workflow massively more productive?
It gets documentation/help wrong or straight-up makes shit up
Same thing with having it generate actual code
If "generating code I'd normally copy/paste" is such a game changer, your architecture/design needs a rework
Yes, even for tests (seriously, we've had ways to pass arrays of inputs into tests for years, having it copy/paste the same test a hundred times with different values is fucking atrocious)
Code "assistant" suggestions have been fucking horrid from my experience with them (and I end up disabling it every time I give it a try)
Decided to give Dredge a shot. It seemed like a decent enough game to play while listening to podcasts. It makes me uneasy and I'm barely paying attention to the podcasts 😅
Some people are reporting it happens when your accounts get flagged by YouTube for blocking ads and that using a private browsing session can be used to bypass it, so it's possible this isn't a blanket thing?
Either way, they can go fuck themselves.
If you're on Firefox and using uBlock Origin (which you should), you can add the following to your filters list to essentially disable the delay:
It doesn't fully disable it, just makes it almost instant, because Google has been doing shit like looking at what gets blocked to combat ad blockers recently.
