Zero times and we're now very happily married. My other successful relationships were also 0 timers (except for the ends, of course 😅). I had one relationship with a lot of break ups and reconciliations and it was truly terrible, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If it happened to a friend more than once, I'd be telling them to leave that person for good ASAP

I don't have any actual research, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Pixel itself doesn't really make money at all. One of those "get people hardcore into the Google ecosystem to get their money/data" things.

Plug for Medito, which is a free non-profit for guided meditations. Not sure if the apps are open-source but still, they're a good organization in stark contrast to the many other meditation companies that are very much for-profit.

For Star Trek, there is an in-universe explanation which is essentially that Humanity and many other classic humanoid species you see (Klingons, Vulcans, Romulans, et al) were all essentially "seeded" by the same ancient race of aliens. That race (the Progenitors) evolved way earlier than everyone else and found themselves alone in the galaxy, so they got down to the seeding. (I know this has also been touched on in S5 of Discovery so please forgive me if they changed anything lol)

And yet he still finds plenty of time to harass trans women on Tumblr...

I don't know that my absolute favorite artist has a bad song. But here are a few songs I hate by artists that I love:

Bloc Party (original lineup/first 4 albums): 3 x 3. Not sure why, just feels anxious in a bad way? Always a skip for me.

Keane: Ishin Denshin (You've Got To Help Yourself). This is a cover from an EP so maybe too deep of a cut, but man do I hate this track. Just feels cloying and awkward. Like they were trying to recreate the original but were too in awe of it.

Peter Bjorn and John: The Feeling. The first track from their true followup to Writer's Block. Just feels like it's a song that's weird for the sake of being weird.

To this day, I love to suggest my tech friend switch to Lindows as a joke. Still kills if they get it, otherwise I have to explain "so it's this old Linux distribution..."

I know there is a wide variety of times but I feel like 2/3rds of the farmer's markets near me are at inconvenient times for me. "3-7PM on a weekday" nope, "8AM-12PM on sunday" MAYBE if I wake up early and am feeling adventurous.

I've done it once or twice in the early days to see what was up, never since then.

I'm always telling people to REALLY watch Napoleon Dynamite. I think it got quoted and proto-memed to death when it came out, leading to most people having an unfair idea in their head of what the movie is.

The soundtrack is phenomenal. The acting is (mostly) way better than you may have thought it was. Jon Gries (Uncle Rico) was nominated for an Independent Spirit award and he absolutely deserved that nomination. The cinematography is excellent, especially knowing how much it cost to make + how much experience the crew had. Though it's not explicitly said, I think it's ultimately a story about neurodivergent people finding friendship, solidarity, and happiness in a world not made for them.

Also, the scene where Uncle Rico throws a steak at Napoleon is still funny.
