Our corporation (170k employees) switched to google workspace and demands that everyone who can, should work with a chrome book. It's wild. It's still a minority, but we actually have a significant percentage working exclusively on chromebooks now (still single digit thought afaik).

The guilt that "you could have done more with your life", despite being a successful engineer with a happy family.

I don't own one. But having real buttons is always an advatage for me when driving a car. I think my car can do everything the "Car Thing" did via the buttons on the steering wheel and the screen of the radio (or multimedia screen or whatever we call those nowadays), but if I had an car that can't I might have been interested.

Lol, the US learned literally nothing from what they did to Iraq and Afghanistan. But this time there is no Pakistan, Turkey, Iran and Lebanon to take in 10 million refugees, they will come to the US.

While i certainly wouldn't rule it out, this are just unconfirmed rumors. I wouldn't get too hopeful.

I think there was a video about them restructuring their company a few weeks ago. I think he wanted to employ a CEO, because the managment part was getting out of hand. Maybe that is why this shitshow happened?
