It appears I have been so I gotta try and sort this out in case it prevents me sending or receiving emails and having to pay for more storage -_-
I’m being bullshitted in circles. At some point I probably should get a huge external drive and manually back everything up onto there. But then there’s the risk of it being lost or broken and losing everything. Not to mention the organisational load of having to sort it all out.
This is even worse. Trying to follow guides to pause syncing of OneDrive and nothing is as the guide said. So I poked around more and I now have the choice of pausing it for up to 24 hours or unlinking it completely.
At this point I feel like Microsoft is expensive spyware but I don’t have the energy to jump through all the hoops to control it or make the switch 😔
Edit: First of all the layout and navigation sucks. So much unwanted stuff. Like Windows 10 but worse.
But. It’s saying that space is low so it’s making not recently used items be cloud only… but OneDrive storage is almost full so when that feature fills it up I might not be able to receive emails. There’s also the question of whether I want some items to be in the cloud. I might have to work out how to turn syncing off.
Also I’m going to have to figure out how to disable Copilot. Stop it taking snapshots.
I hate how tech works now and didn’t want any of these changes. I wonder how much *more of my private shit has already been harvested.
If I could be sure that I could make everything I needed work (and most importantly interface with others using Windows or Mac) I would go over to Linux. Unfortunately I don’t have the organisational capacity right now :(
You’re right. I completely forgot about the fridge. It gets worse the longer you look.
Edit: Perhaps a taller shallower French door fridge could be used but would still kind of be impeding the walkway. A bar fridge could go where the dishwasher is but that’s very limiting when the other space is there.
I once had a kitchenette (?) that only had a few square feet of floor space and not enough room for a fridge… it was still more usable than this. It’s terrible planning.
They absolutely should have used an island or even just left the peninsula out. There’s even an area at the side where a small table or sideboard could have been used for extra bench space instead.
They should have just gone with a portable kitchen island on wheels, so it could be moved into that empty side area when not in use. Or just used there.
Maybe a kitchen island would stick out into the walkway a little when pushed to the side but that weird angled monstrosity there impedes access to part of the kitchen and would constantly take a chunk out of your hip.
Even omitting that extra bench space would be preferable.
Loaded baked potatoes would be even cheaper. Get the washed kind (preferably floury) and microwave them skin on to cook. Then smash open, load them up, and bake to get everything hot and crispy/melted
They seemed to like the drawn tutorial (with the original video credited of course) so I whacked up part 2 - someone followed them both and posted their results. There you go. I’ve made my first few tutorials and kinda become a teacher to others.
Now to actually learn how to draw myself and not teach people bad habits 🤪
I managed to get another weeks worth of antibiotics which will hold me til I can see my regular gp.
I feel heavy as lead and like I’ve been beaten by a sack of hammers. The anxiety has been bad today too which can be the low phosphate. The phosphate supplement has to be ordered in and costs $70-ish…
When you're a certain level of chronically ill/disabled you have a lot of time on your hands. But then you're too unwell to actually do much of substance with it, or even concentrate enough for learning >:( It's not restful or easy at all and neither is it fruitful.
Thanks, that’s what I found but I didn’t want to take a drastic step until I’ve got things backed up.
