I found my sewing machine. I wonder if it still works well, or if it’s full of dust.

I’m constantly back at Mts Washmore and Dishmore.

The premade ‘cleaning music’ playlists that come up kind of suck. lol. Idk, I’ll probably just try to find some older ones with 80s/90s music - bonus for the fun kind of corny

I’ve got slack on masking after keeping it up for so long. Wondering if it would be weird to start wearing one again during flu season.

Of course it’s not weird to not want to get sick but you know, it’s not the norm to wear face masks in Australia like it is in Asia. And it’s rare to see them now. People would probably stare, assume you were sick, or it might provoke the cooker type.

Then again I really don’t think I’d fare well with the flu.

I’ve had my flu shot. Covid shot is next on the agenda

Hmmm… I prescribe cuddlepurrs. Maybe if you put a heat source in your lap and feed her a creamy treat

Oh yes, familiarity and territory is huge for cats! But thankfully so is food and warmth. She’s doing really well.

She’s settling in fast! Cats struggle with change but she knows she’s with someone safe

Bit too cold for a dip right now… but maybe nice for some fish and chips or a thermos with a hot drink

To top it off she mocks Helen for being filthy and ragged, poorly educated and unemployable. This is unforgiveable.

Edit: Cleaning spots on carpet (windows and wooden doors open to air out the scent) and Melbcat cheerfully walked through the wet cleaning product. She got upset when I wiped her feet.

She’s now stalking the magpies through the wire screens.

Yeah. I think there’s just so little space, energy, and a-hole neighbours plants intrude to smother/suck up all the moisture and nutrients.

Also I can’t let Melbcat out to kill or repel the rats

Today I was meant to do tidying but I’m in a real funk and can’t get moving :(

Edit: A couple of ripe jack be little pumpkins (and one almost ripe) have withered off the vine. Leaving the few others to finish up but I have to say the harvest isn’t very impressive. Also every golden nugget pumpkin plant got completely eaten.
