The random usernames apparently come from when you sign up using other social media accounts, like Twitter, google, Facebook. For the longest time I thought it was the indicator for a bot account. Turns out it’s an indicator for bots and new-ish users.
Yeah, except the US isn’t really doing any of those things.
You can still own guns here in the Netherlands, you just have to be a member of a sporting organisation and be licensed and stuff.

For me it has always been part of the garbage collection tax. You get a couple of bins and a collection schedule. If you’re unlucky, you also pay per bin emptied depending on your municipality. It’s not really a choice not to have the service, as it is part of living in the municipality you live in.
Fun to learn how things that are so normal to me can be so different in other places!

I’ve seen it plenty of times that they use chrome AND edge. Simply because some things open in edge by default and they don’t know how to, or aren’t bothered to switch it.
A modern bus on a hot day is like walking into a fridge in my country. They also look about 30 years newer than whatever I've seen when it comes to American buses, so that might help a little.

Over here we have one, along with a bin for non-recyclables and more and more often one for plastics.
Just don't forget that the "oo" is pronounced as the "oh" in "oh shit" and not like the "oo" in "cool" or "mood".
Same for the "a" in "zak". It's closer to "ahhh" as in "oooohh and ahhh" or "pasta" than it is to the "a" in "back"
