I don’t know if you managed to do it yet, but in that case it’s for future people finding this: I think you’re suffering from first-time-on-GitHub-itis. Don’t worry, I had it too, back in the day. I think that you might just have downloaded the source code of this program (at the top right it says download to zip). You can’t run that without compiling it into an executable (program) yourself. What you should do instead, is find the tab labelled “Releases” and download the release for your operating system (windows, macOS or Linux). That should allow you to run the program. :)

Not sure about that, specifically. I do know that some countries (e.g., The Netherlands) have way stricter exams than for instance Hungary.

Doesn’t surprise me, really. With all the stories you hear about the younger part of GenZ not being familiar with things like files and directories because everything is just saved in this enormous bucket of things called “the cloud”. I’m sure some of the things I’ve read are ragebait, but from my own experience, the increased usability of mobile operating systems has really influenced their ability to work with “traditional” stuff, which is nothing more than logical. But yeah.

And that there are no proper driving lessons or exams like in some European countries.

I mean, there’s vocal people everywhere. Without fail, when I see a picture or a video of a cow or pig being cute, there’s at least 10 people thinking they’re the height of comedy by saying “oh yummy, steak/bacon”.

I’m not super well-versed in this field, but I know the basics. People are excited about 3nm processes because it allows you to fit more transistors on the same die or make smaller dies with the same performance as a bigger one on the old process. It also has reduced energy consumption, and thus reduced heat production. How exactly, I’m not sure.

Signify is just the “new” name of what once was Philips Lighting. Not a new company or anything.

Do any recent games have their full data on the disc anymore? I figured they had become too big, and that the disc merely serves as a licence to download it online anyway.

Bonus tip: get as many as you need, and then a couple more. Sounds like I’m some kind of salesman, but trust me. I bought some to create a simple charging station for my vr controllers. Works great. Now I want some more to charge other things with the cables I already have laying around (I had some more). Didn’t have the right adapter pieced for in my devices. (Needed usb c, only had micro b and lightning). Now, a few years after I bought them to make that charging stand thingy, they don’t sell this exact one anymore. Bummer.

I already don’t worry about that anymore using the anti-flat tyres I have on my bike. I can just ride through a pile of broken glass without a worry.

I can imagine that spammers nowadays can write a simple script that drops everything from the + to the @, so while that may work for some spammers, others will just use your normal email address. I've resorted to creating a catchall for my personal domain. Also not ideal, but it'll hopefully take them a while to figure that one out for everyone using their own domain.

It does force it, if I’m not mistaken. Rejecting all should be as easy as accepting all. The problem is with enforcement.

As much as I hated that excuse during the pandemic, I think I’d have trouble breathing when wearing an FFP3/N95 mask while cycling. Granted, I’m talking about cycling as a sport, not for commuting (though I tend to have a decent speed while commuting). Going 30 km/h I really need my air to keep it up.

Interestingly enough there seem to be two types of playlists that get pushed in ads. One is a normal one with a big variety of artists. That seems the least profitable to me. The other only has songs by one “artist” that seems to only have remixes of popular songs. That’s the sketchy one, in my opinion.

I’ve been getting a lot of ads on instagram for Spotify playlists. I wonder if that has anything to do with it, because how else would you make money from a playlist of all things?

Oh, that’s neat haha. Little bit evil maybe, unless they were spammers though ;)
