  • No. Just give the function a good descriptive name with good descriptive parameters. Keep the function simple too. If you can’t, try to refactor and see if that helps.

If you are still unable to express yourself via code, then you should use comments to guide the reader.

  • People paid money because they were promised a finished game by 2014. It’s still nowhere near finished. It hasn’t had an estimated release date for years.

Sure, if you enjoy the game at its current state, fine. No one should take that joy away from you.

  • I’m not sure if even Apple can turn the tides. I can’t see how Apple can succeed if Meta struggle finding a market even with their much cheaper models.

Maybe they will find a market among the most diehard Apple/tech enthusiasts, but it’s probably going to end there.

  • If the choice was between Mac vs Windows I would probably go with Mac, as it’s Unix based.

In a previous job I had to use Windows. I think it’s tolerable at best. Thankfully WSL along with the new Windows terminal is pretty good these days. I don’t miss the days when MSYS was the only Linux-like option for windows.

  • Different computers. My work provide me a dedicated work computer. My work doesn’t really care which OS I’m using on their computer. Only that I’m doing the job, and I’m most productive on Linux.

But if I for some reason had only one computer I would probably dual boot to keep my work and personal life separate.

  • I don’t want to use a browser / browser engine from an advertising company as my daily driver. It’s in their best interest to track me as much as possible. Only Firefox and Safari satisfies my criteria, and one of them is the obviously better choice.

  • I’ve only played the demo of P, but if you expect Sekiro sword dances you’re probably going to be disappointed. It’s not as fundamental as in Sekiro.

Parrying is important in P, as it builds up stagger. But they’re trickier to land. Can be quite satisfying once that’s nailed down.

Not sure how the game evolves beyond the demo.

  • We take Wikipedia too much for granted.

It’s a service that has remained ad free to this day. No pop up asking you to be tracked. No pop up forcing you to create an account. No pop up asking you to subscribe to their news feed. It’s one of the few remnants left of the old open web.
