  • i think it's more likely that they are so different from us, that just a few nerds of both species keep communicating, because there isn't much to gain. for example, they could live in a gas giant and would instantly explode in our atmosphere and we would be crushed in theirs. they communicate with each other with radio waves and would go batshit near our planet with its many radio devices and they use echolocation to see because their atmosphere is not as transparent as ours. we couldn't see them if we visited, not even from space etc.. and that's just an example. there are so many ways we wouldn't match in a way that would make sense to spend time together.

  • okay, but I'm on loops and there are almost no "talking heads" it's mostly nature, tourist attractions, cats and other pets, ppl dancing or musicians, funny incidents, drone videos, trains, memes and a few computer game clips i don't get.

  • Free speech means the government will let citizens criticise them or communicate other political opinions without sanctions. It does not mean they can't ban one channel of communication when they are worried foreign actors use it to take advantage of the citizens. There are plenty other channels through which the citizens can communicate their opinions.

  • but the meme is about the aftermath. it doesn't even contain tiktok. some americans moving to red note instead of the other american services depicted in the meme is their consumer choice and not some politicians

  • maybe look up videos of "rotary fly trap". maybe you can make something like that for roaches. it's a genius system of overlapping comb like structures under a transparent slowly rotating lid that basically works like an airlock, closing an outer room first, then opening an inner room, so there is no escape. it being transparent also fools the insects in thinking they are still in the open, even though it's slowly closing above them

  • if OP trusts their service, they can check the passwords they used with this email to find the compromised one and change it.

also, a significant number of ppl use one email per service. for example, they add stuff to google mail addresses or use yahoo disposable emails. those would know it from the email address in the mail.
