  • A building of lies quickly becomes unmaintainable as you pile on lies to support earlier lies. Honesty may sometimes look like it throws you back, but it's much less stressful and less mess than all the accumulated deceit coming down.

  • I'm pretty sure some people enjoy being sexist/racist and some even get off of watching people being sexist/racist. However, there are people in both groups who also understand it's a problem and stand against it, except with consent in private.

  • Yeah, that's why ClickFix doesn't work on most users, but still a few. The newer FileFix is nastier, because it looks more plausible in a situation of a download. Like, you know those fake download button ads? Imagine one of those and it leads to instructions to paste something into the native file dialog address bar instead of the run dialog. This will trick a lot more people.

  • I disagree. New smartphones may have a few better specs, but are overall worse than older models.

For example, they are getting bigger and bigger and can't be operated one handed any more, even with Androids one-handed mode, because the zoom makes everything tiny.

Newer phones become hotter, batteries more likely to turn into spicy pillows.

More bloatware preinstalled, like AI stuff or "AR Emoji" etc.

The camera notches are growing too, even though most people would be fine with notchless cameras.

They are getting heavier and thicker too. In 2015 we had 5.1mm 98g phones. Not even a notch. It all went downhill from there.

And don't even get me started on the prices.
