Anyways this video goes into some detail instead of ominously saying jack shit and it sounds like this Enrico guy was mostly busy shuffling code around and breaking stuff, then pivoted into a crusade against DEI. Doesn't fit the persecuted savior story.
I haven’t played Minecraft for a while, but I was under the impression that Microsoft was progressively turning the Bedrock version into a microtransaction hellscape. If I’d have to reluctantly commend Microsoft for anything, I’d rather go for Visual Studio Code.

JavaScript is therefore needed if we’re being pragmatic. Just transpile it from TypeScript if you’re too stuck up for dynamic languages building something big.

While I was studying 25 years ago every student had bought an education version of Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 at the local shop, which was less than a 100$. In the meanwhile everybody was sharing a cracked copy of Adobe Photoshop since the only license available was upwards of 600$. They absolutely did that to themselves.
