You don't have T-Mobile or Verizon in your area? You're on Spectrum, which uses Verizon towers. Visible is owned by Verizon, and is arguably a better deal, especially if you pay annually. Mint Mobile is owned by T-Mobile; T-Mobile is right behind Verizon for coverage.
As someone who had the displeasure of having Spectrum internet for almost 5 years, I would strongly suggest leaving that shithole company in the dust.
It's bloatware, so probably American. I would know, I avoid those shitass bloated phones like the plague. Sometimes I'll install a custom ROM to get rid of other shit, too
My ISP (like most ISPs) will just forward nastygrams from the content owners. Usually big companies like NBC or whatever. My ISP is a local setup (XMission in Utah) and only forwards them as a courtesy. They don't actually do anything. It's nice.
I tried spinning up my own Lemmy instance. Everything was configured properly, but I could not get it working. Mind you, I run lots of things that take more than a drop-in compose.yml, so I'm not sure what I was doing wrong 🤔
I'll tell you exactly why - people think bigger = better, and manufacturers play into that by selling them that way and nerfing their "compact" versions of flagship phones.
P9PXL and 16PM household here. Both have dbrand magsafe cases. I use my wife's magsafe charger sometimes, but we mostly just stick with wired charging.
Everyone is recommending games, but you haven't told us a thing about this gifted PC. It's important to know that prior to recommending anything, as a "custom gaming PC" could be an i7-4790k system from a decade ago.
