You are 100% correct to have an issue with that. My point was more to answer why he is still getting upvotes. The premise of his comment about not cumming in women you don't want to impregnate is correct. The motivation of the woman is pretty irrelevant to the conversation. He is wrong about that but it's not the main point.
His point isn't wrong. He could have explained it better but telling a teenage boy how to not get girls pregnant regardless of what they tell him is not a bad idea. I definitely had experiences with girls I slept with telling me not to worry about it and at least one of them went on to have a teen pregnancy by another dude. They weren't trying to trap me. They were just dumb. So was I and I got really lucky that there were no consequences. Teenagers say and do dumb shit and the more cognizant your son is of that the better. If he's anything like me he's not going to be thinking about consequences in the moment.
Yeah, all the news is just exhausting. Every day is some new bullshit from Musk/Trump flagrantly doing things to harm people and no one with any power is trying to do anything about it. People I care about have already lost their jobs and others are very concerned about their future. Trump's supporters are hateful morons but them getting hurt too doesn't make up for the rest of us suffering. There is a very real possibility that a lot of us never get out of the hole Musk and Trump are digging. Even if we do we'll have lost years of our lives to them. Ridiculing people who've made the terrible decision to support them isn't helping anything.
Yeah it's handy. Also I didn't think to mention it I initially but I also bought a macropad that I'm intending to use along with my drawing tablet (keyboard sits on the keyboard tray and I'm left handed so it's awkward). The macropad mostly does what I want but I don't know enough python to make it behave exactly how I want it to.
I don't have a safety net and I'm employed well above where my qualifications on paper would get me hired in a new position so if I lose this job I'll most likely be set back by years. Sorry but I'm not joining a strike. Good luck to anyone who does but I will almost certainly be fucked if I do. I'd contribute in other ways if there are any suggestions.
If I ever find something that pays enough to do what I want and offers a nice work life balance my ladder climbing will stop there. I have no career goals beyond that. I want to pursue my personal interests and help others learn. That's it. Unfortunately I can't figure out how to monetize my personal interests in a way that won't make me hate my life.
My LG V20. No current phone can replace the functionality of it. I'm dreading the day the apps I use for work stop working on it and I have to buy some POS modern phone and I can't do half the shit I currently do.
My experience with stinky coworkers was always telling there boss "hey can you talk to so-and-so? He smells like rancid asshole". Those conversations never took place and I couldn't stand to be around the stinky individual to help them learn to do their job so they'd inevitably end up failing and getting fired for performance. I guess the problem solved itself but they got a good few months out of the job before that happened.
Does axe still have those slutty commercials? Show him a bunch of those. Until he's convinced women will find him irresistible for wearing it. Sure it's not ideal but it's better than smelling like BO.
