Yeah, and what should happen if "those boys in blue" are the ones doing evil things? Some other group should kill them? Seems like an endless cycle. How/why is this preacher considered a good guy?

Ranked choice voting would help, but I like that "throw the bum out" option mentioned here.

Yeah, be at least far enough back be able to see the truck's side mirrors. 'Can't speak for all truck drivers of course, but when I'm driving a big vehicle I actually like that someone "has my back" like this. It's much nicer to have someone trailing me at a safe distance than to have an impatient driver trying to speed me up by traveling too close.

So there's no chance that this threat could backfire? By the looks of the Israeli protest marches, not everyone in that country agrees with the current government's heavy handed approach. Could this be a bluff?

Does anyone know if other unions work on these campuses? If so, how are they responding to these strikes? Some support from other unions would probably mean a lot right now.

Yeah, sometimes (most times?) that's what happens when you hate.

Not the answer you're looking for but we just put a cap over our double chimney. Our area has terrible pollution problems and, although we liked having fires, we're happier not contributing to the area's bad air.
