Personally..... Id spin up a Ubuntu desktop instance for Jellyfin and Sonarr. I went through a few different operating systems before I went back to Ubuntu and....it just works. Lots of documentation on installing those services that way. Jellyfin is very happy behind Sonarr... I'd stay away from Windows for any kind of selfhosting because I don't trust them

.....why would you use bottles to play windows games and not just use Proton? If you don't know Proton is a incredible tool built right into steam and it works with most games. You can check Protondb for comparability with the games you want to play

Don't lose your passwords and leave closed registration so only people you actually want on your instance are on it. You absolutely do not need email.
