  • I remember watching this pro legalize it documentary years ago. Man they followed the most was a medical dispensary owner. He was an mildly autistic white guy (similar to my son, high functioning) with some serious cornrows, and wore over the top brightly colored baggy clothes.

The part I remember is him rushing to go speak in front of a large group of people on the topic of legalization. He had to make a quick stop at his business, even though it wasnt usual business hours, so he could get an edible to take before he spoke.

  • Ha! I literally laughed!

Whats the over/under on how long til bye bye constitution? I noticed that he was declaring a lot of emergencies during his tirade. Just throwing spaghetti at the wall til something sticks, and then martial law. Not sure they'll go Sadam Hussein style and just read a bunch of names or what. I feel it coming tho.

  • A crime is any action that violates a law. If the law says it's illegal to pick your nose, then mining gold makes you a criminal.

Law is a human invention. It's not discovered like mathematics, it's created. Corner cases often make no sense and are simply not enforced. If they were, we'd see a lot of jury nullification in the long run.

  • Yeah I agree, it's this kinda propaganda that they pump out there, and a bunch if other shit we've all seen. Lies. They lie, and like the asshats that owned the news papers when that's what people read, they own the social media now.

    Nothing new under the sun.

  • Sometimes the value add is security, sometimes scaling or uptime. Enterprise considerations aren't necessarily the same as for individual consumers.

Sometimes it's just a dogshit product though, and the sales team pulled the wool over some execs eyes.
