  • alternative opinion: LE has become overly reliant on cheap tricks like spying.

  • my experience with rss is that its a data format. if its widely supported by publishers then its automatic win.
    i guess it allows for tbe diff'ed content updates to be modularized away from reloading the entire page over and over again. deffinitly reduces waste and improves subscriber retention/loyalty.
    there is nothing in the standards that includes deduplication (AFAIK). but client devs always include it.

  • idk. yeah.. probably.
    all (public) platforms are fcked.
    but at least it provides value to users.
    like: piracy, anonymity, and foss software.
    also general info and news.

    nnn (tui file manager) would be an interesting solution. i know its not really perfect but you can interactively select and view files.

  • shitty coworkers suck. they make work worse for the same pay. not to mention rising cost of living and static wages.

  • of course it sucks that rust is fixing decaying capitalist infrastructure. but at least its a good product that we can all maximize our benefits from.

  • a router that supports openwrt. relatively new, affordable, good specs/features. non-bs model.

    or a computer with NIC that supports AP mode.(if u know how to do that)

    • branches would fall in the tracks
    • wild animals might populate and then get harmed.

    • not citing pros
    • both can probably be mostly solved fairly easily i think

  • i was thinking more of a narrow information retrieval system. as opposed to doing random exploration and discovery.
