  • if you use textfree, you can probably register on signal with a fake-as-fuck phone number. but i think textfree requires a valid phone number for that.
    very sucky to have to do all that.

  • the internet is a dumping ground for suppressed frustration

  • when software is sluggish to respond.. like a modern browser with 100 heavy js tabs open. esp when it crashes or freezes.
    otherwise.. its hard to be unhappy with a simple self-configured WM(not a "batteries-included fancy DE). and preferably a very simple diy distro.

    difficulty in fixing problems is a more relevant issue.

  • in rural areas? in all rural areas??
    some people have suggested that verizon has more coverage in rural areas but less speed overall.
    there are a few exceptions for both providers.

  • people say they removed it with adb. no complaints -they say.
    probably safe to remove it.
    keep a backup of package in case u think u might want to turn on fancy services in the future.

  • i think sometimes.. in certain outskirt or rural areas there may be cases when a slow and steady provider (verizon/visible) may be considered a safer option for some.
