  • I also think DEI is awful: Don Jr, Eric, and Ivanka, yuck! The worst of his spawn.

  • Nothing would stop someone who made it to the Superbowl to not play. Especially since many (most?) of them probably support him. I know the Chiefs kicker Butker does. They're rich as hell you know.

  • Great now he's going to ruin the Super Bowl too while he's at it. He went to the World Series too. Sports are supposed to be an escape. Can't he (and musk) leave anything alone?

  • Even giving them read-only access is blatantly criminal and a massive security risk, but anyone who believes they're really restricting access even that much is a fool.

  • And this is why Democrats will keep losing.

Do people not understand yet that we have moved beyond that world now? No more Democrats vs. Republicans and any of that "how to win an election" stuff. It's over.

  • 475 years sounds like a lot until you realize that's in dog years.

  • One thing I feel sure of is that at some point Trump will order the military to fire on civilians. I thought it would take some time to build up to that point, but I hadn't factored the magnitude of the Musk variable into the equation. I'd love it if there really was a deep state that would step in and come to our rescue via some kind of "special operation".

  • Assuming people still know what a folder is, the most obvious would be a folder with an arrow going into it, like:

  • Per the Constitution, the US government is comprised of 3 co-equal branches. The Executive Branch is only one branch, not the government itself, so technically its taking over of the entire government could be looked at as a coup. So far the other two branches are either cooperating (legislative) or sitting idly by (judicial), so we don't know yet whether this is a coup by the executive or just the entire government saying fuck the Constitution, we're done with that.

You could also say, since this is supposed to be a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, that it is a coup against the people--but the problem there is that, assuming the election wasn't interfered with, "the people" elected this government.

  • It's not legitimate because most of the stuff they are doing is plain out-and-out illegal. But like they (Don Jr., etc) said before the election, they were going to go ahead and do it anyway and dare anyone including SCOTUS to try and stop them. It's going to come down to our military to choose a side.

  • I don't think she stroked his ego, I think she played hardball and showed him how he was gonna get hurt a lot more than they were, then he backed off (saving face by saying she would send troops to the border). That and the fact that women intimidate the hell out of Trump. He knows how to bully men but women get him all discombobulated.

  • The other two branches are supposed to act as a check but they've not only abdicated their responsibility but fallen in line behind the dictator. All of this could have been avoided if they had convicted trump in either the first or second impeachment, which would have prevented him from running again.

  • Why yes, I do think everyone has given up. So can you please DO SOMETHING. If Congress can't do anything, who can? SCOTUS can't do anything until someone brings a case before it. Can you please do that? If AOC and/or Bernie won't do it I don't know who will.

  • Democrats "raised alarms"? Gee thanks, that'll take care of it you pathetic wimps. Why haven't they brought an immediate case to the Supreme Court for an emergency ruling? A non-elected, non-nominated or confirmed by Senate (and we should of course note) immigrant has been given access to the United States Treasury. This is insane.

  • According to this (see first 2 minutes), they are specifically trying to target red states in hopes of getting republicans to try and intervene with trump.

  • Pretty brave for someone who flies so much.
