So advertising, then.

One reason I dont want to do therapy is simple paranoia. Anything you tell your therapist can be subpoenad by a court. That alone is enough to keep me from trusting a therapist with anything of substance.

That said, anything in my life that might motivate me to do something that would land me in court is probably something I should see a therapist about.

Truth is, I'm unlikely to do anything that would land me in court, so I should probably see a therapist about this paranoia.

Old guy here. Notice how highlighters dont have a pointed tip, but rather a slanted rectange. Black markers used to be like that. If you wanted a smaller line you had to angle it and use one of the corners.

Then sharpies came along with the pointed tip and everbody bought those instead. I cant remember seeing the old type any time recently, but I expect the crafts section would still have them.

The other issue is phones would not typically have a public IP without ipv6. You are also unlikely to have a static (consistent) IP address.

Were you expecting otherwise? Loading an external image is no different than loading an external website with images. Lemmy and reddit are link aggregators, not proxies. Having to proxy everything would run a significant bandwidth for instance admin who are often paying out of pocket for hosting.
